APEX light alloy wheels are the next evolution in flow-forged wheel technology for BMWs. All APEX wheels are the BMW standard 5/120 bolt pattern and with a 72.6mm center bore. They are a direct fit many BMW models and may fit other models with a specific wheel spacer. The original BMW center cap, TPMS sensors, and original lug bolts are all carried over from your original wheels (wheel bolts may vary if spacers are used). They come in a wide variety of diameter, width, and offset combinations which gives you multiple fitment and application opportunities. For street use we generally recommend a staggered setup with a rear wheel slightly wider than the front. For track and racing applications a square setup is desired with the same width in the front and rear. Wheel offsets may also vary based on the clearances and stance you wish to achieve. Apex ARC8 18x10" Square Wheel Set

If you're tracking your BMW you should absolutely have stickier rubber on wider wheels. Most BMWs have a staggered wheel set with a narrow front wheel that results in understeer. Adding a wider wheel will get you more rubber where it counts - reducing understeer and improving initial turn-in. Square wheel sets of the same size and offset also allow you to rotate tires around to get the most life out of pricey track tires. We have put this wheel set together using four APEX 10.0" wheels in a ET25 offset. A 10" wheel allows for 275-285 performance or R-comp tires. This is a very aggressive offset and custom alignment settings will be required. Trimming of plastic fender liners or fender rolling may also be required depending on tire size/type and ride height.
