CSF redesigned this cooler and went with a more traditional inlet/outlet orientation. The new single pass design features high efficiency and high durability, but with vertically oriented inlet and outlet connections.

The transmission oil cooler allows fluid to pass through the core, dropping the temperature of the fluid before it returns to the transmission. This prolongs fluid life and viscosity, as well as providing a cooler fluid to drop transmission temperatures which can be vital to the life of a transmission.
