After thousands of test miles, iterating through a variety of pad compounds, we’ve landed on the ideal blend for our DD23 Daily Driver ceramic pad.

Good stopping power - Brake pads need to stop your car, period, so this is key. We focused on selecting a compound that offers a healthy level of friction (both when hot and when cold) for safe, positive stopping power.

Positive initial bite - You should feel your brakes engage as you press the pedal, but it should not feel like an on/off switch! Advanced ceramic composition means you’ll enjoy a smooth transition on and off of the brake pedal, meaning your passengers will have a comfortable ride in stop-and-go traffic. We’ve hit a good balance here.

Very low-dust - Some factory-installed pads are eye-poppingly dusty, which is a no-go for us. Thanks to the composition of this ceramic pad, which is copper-free and contains a negligible amount of other metals, dust is both lighter in color and very limited in amount. We’ve improved on the “dust factor” without sacrificing on bite and stopping power as a good compromise, which will be a win for anyone who doesn’t detail daily (or anyone who does, too!)

Centric Posi Quiet Brake pads surpass the braking performance of stock pads but do it with far less dust. This semi-metallic pad compound is very easy to use on the street with excellent feel and initial bite and low noise. But the best thing we like with these pads is how little dust they produce. You will be amazed at how little dust there is on your wheels after a week of use. These are a great replacement pad for fans of the discontinued PBR Metal Master Pads.
