This low-pressure fuel sensor is commonly a cause of an "Increased Emissions" warning on the idrive and for check engine (SES) lights on BMW's with the N54 6 cylinder turbo engine or the S65 V8 engine in the M3. The integrated automatic cooling works by us installing a thermal activation switch directly onto the new half bridge IC. When the half bridge IC reaches 50°C, the 40mm fan will turn on and keep running until the IC is below 50°C or until the EKMP3 stops receiving power. I have an EKPM2, can I upgrade to this? Yes. You can upgrade to this. We recommend using the HW05 and below module. You will need to code it in order for it to function properly. Can I run more than 1 low-pressure fuel pump off of this module? No. We do not recommend that you use more than one low-pressure fuel pump with any EKP module due to the factory wiring supplying power to the EKP Module is only 12 gauge, which is not rated for the type of power demands that two low-pressure fuel pumps would require.
