The E90 330i had the highest horsepower out of the N52-powered vehicles. The reason for this was while the 128i, 325i, 328i, 525i, and 528i received a single-stage manifold, the 330i was gifted a 3-stage manifold. A 3-stage manifold consisted of 2 DISA valves that would divert air to the cylinders that needed it. With more air going to the appropriate cylinders and fuel adjustments by the ECU, this valve system helps extract the most power from the N52. The CTS Turbo direct fit FMIC Kit for the BMW 135i and BMW E90/E92/E93 335i is an excellent upgrade for any stock or modified cars. This kit provides significant cooling improvement compared to the competition, and substantial cooling benefits over the factory setup. Improvements can be attributed to the high density bar-and-plate intercooler core, and high-flow cast aluminum end tanks. End tanks are flared to ensure you don’t have to worry about your boost tubes blowing off or leaking. If that wasn’t enough for you, this kit also uses 4ply silicone couplers and stainless steel T-Bolt clamps. Core dimensions are 20' long x 7' deep x 6' high, making this one of the largest direct fit intercoolers on the market. In our research, larger cores do not yield better results and do not fit properly in the bumper. Note: On some models, a small amount of trimming may be required to the plastic intercooler shroud; no trimming of bumper is necessary. This will not affect the integrity or aesthetics of the bumper. This system completely does away with the restrictive, and muli-connection stock charge pipe system, and replaces it with a single 6-ply, Heat Resistant, Wire reinforced silicone charge pipe rated at over 200 psi. They are molded for the perfect fit in your engine bay, while not sacrificing anything in the way of flow or size. They also completely isolate your charge air from any additional heat soak coming in from the engine or ambient heat. Another huge benefit is only TWO connections which are barbed and has many small ridges which dig into the silicone so it’s impossible for the pipe to blow off.

This N54 pipe has a flange installed to support a Turbosmart BOV.

This is the EASIEST N54 charge pipe on the market to install hands down. Install takes about half an hour even if you are inexperienced with working on your own car, can take as little as 15-20 minutes if you have had it apart a few times.
