The combination of N52 and muffler delete surpasses all sound expectations from a small 1 series! Impressive direct-fit solution. With this new muffler/res delete you can completely transform the sound and driving experience of your 128. A simple installation that can be completed with hand tools gives you the ability to take your car to the next level at home in your garage! What sounds better than an in-line six-cylinder paired with a race-inspired exhaust setup, the answer is nothing. You have a nimble chassis fitted with an engine that provides more than enough power for spirited street driving or even taking to the track, if the exhaust is still factory you do not know what you are missing out on.
The ECS N52 Muffler & Resonator Delete removes the heavy, restrictive factory muffler and replaces it with a lighter weight, high flow, T304 stainless steel 3.0" exhaust tubing. This exhaust adds a louder exhaust note in a simple, cost-effective way without replacing the entire exhaust system and is fully compatible with the OEM rear valance. This upgrade creates a noticeable increase in exhaust sound, without adding significant drone at cruising speeds. As an added bonus, the ECS muffler delete shaves off about 16 lbs, weighing in at only 22 lbs. OEM units out of the 128 weigh in at around 38lb, a difference you will fully notice when upgrading your exhaust.

Prepare for a fresh new exhaust, things are about to get rowdy. This exhaust features twin 2.5" brushed pipes that slip fit and clamp onto your factory midpipes. The dual 2.5" mid-pipe adapter converges into a single 3" section heading toward the rear axle. The 3" exhaust section snakes through the rear section of the car making smooth dips and curves to make its way into a light-weight 3" turbo style muffler. Don't be fooled by the 135 muffler, the size is nothing but deceiving. The turbo-style muffler features an inner design that refines the exhaust note to perfection. An extraordinary mixture of both volume and smooth frequency. Paired with the 3" muffler is your choice of 3.5" exhaust tips that give your rear diffuser a sporty look that shouts performance.
