BMW E9X M3/E82 1M Inner Lower Tension Arm Bearing is engineered to elevate suspension performance with precision and durability. Developed by Fall-Line, known for their championship-level race cars and premium suspension components, this bearing is a significant upgrade over factory rubber bushings. Designed for motorsport applications, it incorporates FK spherical bearings for enhanced strength and longevity.
Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.
Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.
Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. When an E9X is lowered beyond the limits of just lowering springs, the rear wheels toe-in excessively. This excessive rear toe leads to premature wear, that many people attribute to an increase in negative camber. It has become a common belief that an extremely low vehicle will wear the tires wrong as a matter of consequence. It has become standard practice to go as low as you can and proceed to replace your tires every five to ten thousand miles. Whats more is that when the vehicle reaches a certain ride height, the factory arms become maxed out and there is no way to compensate and dial in the proper toe. You're left with an improperly aligned vehicle that is in effect worse off than it was with the stock suspension installed.
This is not only uneconomical but improper and unsafe. ECS Tuning is proud to offer a solution for this problem in the form of Rogue Engineering E9X adjustable rear toe arms. These arms allow for greater toe adjustment on vehicles that have been lowered with a coilover suspension. With the toe set properly the tires can contact the road properly this maximizes grip and minimizes wear.

Upgrade your E9X BMW with this all-in-one Turner Motorsport bundle featuring Fixed Camber Plates and Monoball Front Thrust Arms. Designed to improve handling, reduce deflection, and increase steering precision, this package delivers a noticeable performance boost both on the street and track—all without breaking the bank.
E9X Front Camber Plates – Fixed Position
Most BMWs leave the factory with conservative front camber to encourage understeer, which compromises handling and accelerates tire wear by reducing contact patch engagement. Turner Motorsport’s Fixed Camber Plates are a simple, effective solution, adding up to 2.5° of negative camber to your E90, E92, or E93.
By increasing front negative camber, you’ll enjoy:
Improved turn-in and cornering confidence
Reduced tire wear
Better overall handling balance
Designed with expertise gained from Turner Motorsport’s participation in the Speed World Challenge series, these plates are offset for the optimal camber/caster combination when running stock-diameter springs. They add only ~6mm of ride height and utilize the factory upper strut mount for a clean, straightforward installation—perfect for racing classes where adjustable camber plates are restricted, or for enthusiasts who want a simple, cost-effective negative camber upgrade.
Installation: Press out OEM studs and alignment pin; see Turner’s detailed PDF for guidance.
Monoball Front Thrust Arm Upgrade Kit
BMW’s stock front thrust arm bushings are soft, compliant, and prone to wear—allowing fore/aft wheel movement that degrades steering feel, alignment, braking response, and tire performance. While designed for comfort, these OEM components fall short for enthusiasts and track-focused drivers seeking maximum control.
Turner Motorsport’s Monoball Front Thrust Arms solve these issues with:
Sealed OEM BMW ball joints for exceptional durability
CNC-machined 6061-T6 anodized aluminum bearing assembly with knurled OD for perfect press-fit and long life
Low-friction, no-bind design to eliminate unwanted suspension deflection
The result? Instantaneous turn-in, precise steering, direct braking feedback, and exceptional suspension feel, all while maintaining comfort and reliability for daily driving. Perfect for track use or spirited street driving, these thrust arms are a no-compromise upgrade for anyone looking to enhance BMW front-end performance.
