Prepare for a fresh new exhaust, things are about to get rowdy. This exhaust features twin 2.5" brushed pipes that slip fit and clamp onto your factory midpipes. The dual 2.5" mid-pipe adapter converges into a single 3" section heading toward the rear axle. The 3" exhaust section snakes through the rear section of the car making smooth dips and curves to make its way into a light-weight 3" turbo style muffler. Amongst the limited options available for the 1 Series, the engineers at ECS have risen to the challenge of providing aftermarket support for these perfectly sized vehicles.
The diffuser replaces the mundane factory M Sport diffuser with a perfectly fitting alternative, designed to enhance the rear end of the 1 Series. Using the existing factory hardware and tab mounting locations, a transformation is merely a few screws and a plastic trim tool away. During the prototype phase, an impressive fit and finish were achieved, but their commitment to excellence led them to make further refinements. With the updated design, the ECS diffuser is now polished to perfection, an indication of the craftsmanship invested in each product.
Installation is a breeze, requiring no drilling, cutting, or modifications of any kind. Simply remove the current valance, align the tabs, and effortlessly secure the diffuser in place using the factory mounting locations and hardware. Ensure a snug fit by verifying the alignment of all tabs, and with a gentle press, witness the tabs seamlessly click into position.

The combination of 135 and muffler delete surpasses all sound expectations and is suspiciously easy to install! An impressive direct-fit solution, with no cutting involved. With the new muffler delete you can transform the sound and driving experience of your 135. A simple installation that can be completed with hand tools allows you to take your car to the next level at home in your garage! At the rear of the car just below the back seats, there is a factory flange with two bolts, simply remove the two bolts and barb from the factory hanger and swap with the ECS Tuning muffler delete for a direct replacement. The ECS muffler delete removes the heavy and restrictive factory exhaust muffler and replaces it with a high-flow, straight-through exhaust pipe. This adds a louder exhaust note in a simple, cost-effective way without replacing the entire exhaust system and is fully compatible with the OEM rear valance. The muffler delete creates a noticeable increase in exhaust sound and more exhilarating turbo noise, without adding significant drone at cruising speeds. As an added bonus, this muffler delete shaves off 23.0 lbs., weighing in at only 7.0 lbs compared to the OEM muffler at 30 lbs!

Our muffler delete was designed, engineered, tested, and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, and rigorous long-term product testing.
This exhaust gasket is used to seal the exhaust midpipes to the downpipes. We also recommend replacing the bolts (11621711954, 4 required) as well.
