This Supersprint section 2 replaces the center resonator in the 128i exhaust. By deleting resonators you can gain a little more volume from the exhaust. This is especially good if you're a fan of the stock exhaust sound and just want to hear more of it. And with less restriction there is a slight horsepower and torque gain as well! This pipe fits best with the Supersprint rear muffler but may fit with other mufflers with professional installation.

The Supersprint rear muffler for the 128i is a subtle sound and performance improvement for those that think the stock muffler is too tame. This sport rear muffler is a free-flowing design with larger piping to improve flow and tune the sound. With the stock resonator in place the sound is still subdued but the Supersprint muffler makes an alteration to the exhaust note to be a little more sporty and aggressive but not intrusive or obnoxious.
