These BMW Motorsport Group N Bushings replace all of the bushings on the factory toe control arm (also known as the track strut). These inner and outer bushings feature a heavy duty rubber that is stiffer than stock. The stiffer bushing reduces deflection and twist in the arm, leading to more stable handling and faster response in the suspension. These bushings are great for track use and legal for some racing classes yet can also be used on a street driven car where extra ride harshness can be tolerated.

Sold as a set of 4 - two bushings for each toe arm.

Revshift billet aluminum subframe bushings completely replace the oem rubber bushings on the BMW E82, E90, E91, E92, and E93 including the M3, 1M, and XI models. On the 2008-up E9X M3 the front strut is held in place by this mount or 'guide support'. The mount not only locates the strut to the body of the car, it also contains bearings that allow the strut to move with the steering and travel of the suspension. It's rubber isolated to minimize vibrations and annoying road impacts from reaching the driver.

The problem that we have seen is that the rubber will wear out over time, and will no longer dampen the vibrations and harshness when contacting a bump or pothole. The driver will often feel that the car does not steer as accurately and the ride is harsher. The bearings inside can also wear out, especially when dirt and sand get into the grease. Replacement will keep the steering sharp, and noise, vibration, and harshness from spreading through the chassis. It's also a good idea to replace these any time a new strut or coil over kit is going on the car.

A BMW's rear subframe is the heart of the suspension. When the subframe moves, so do all the suspension mounting points. Replacing the stock rubber bushings with solid ones limits both drivetrain and suspension movement, eliminating the unwanted movement and keeping your BMW's setup the way it should be. These solid mounts will also help prevent the subframe from tearing out of the chassis on your E90/E92 3 series. BMW’s are known to have failure prone front thrust arm bushings.  The flexible rubber bushings, even those found in M performance models, allow significant movement of the front wheels to maximize daily driving comfort, but also allow considerable alignment change.  This results in a disconnected and numb road feel, standing between you and a confidence inspiring driving experience.  Eventually the fluid filled rubber bushings fatigue and crack due to continual deflection and ozone degradation, and eventually the damping fluid leaks out resulting in complete failure. 

For the enthusiast looking for superior performance and longevity with a crisp, confidence-inspiring driving experience, our sealed ball joint monoballs are the best solution available!  Our experience with spherical front control arm ball joints go back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 racecars (GS class Champions in 2011).  We wanted to offer E31, E32, E34, E38, E39, E53, E60, E63, E64, and E83 owners similar levels of handling precision and control for the track and street. 

The bearing housing is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and features a knurled OD to ensure a perfect press fit, and utilize a sealed OEM BMW ball joint for exceptional quality and durability, making them completely at home on both the street and track with no compromise.  We have done extensive street, autocross, and track testing to ensure the ball joint used in this bushing design excels in each setting.  The advantage of a sealed ball joint is that it eliminates all unwanted deflection while still allowing complete bind-free movement throughout suspension travel, resulting in exceptional control of wheel alignment.  What you get is superior steering precision, turn-in response, direct braking feedback, and better handling.

We offer these thrust arms with the monoball bushings pre-installed for your convenience. Rubber mounts in any position of a vehicle are usually designed with comfort and longevity in mind leaving performance as a sacrifice. This kind of sacrifice here at Turner just won't do, so we did what we do best and designed a solid monoball mount.

Our engineering team first wanted to tackle the issue with wear found on rubber mounts. Due to their combination of steel, rubber, and low mounting location, these mounts are a direct target for deterioration and failure. As they are positioned out in the open and exposed to the elements, bonded steel and rubber components inevitably hold moisture, separating as the steel bearing begins to rust. Our solution was to offer a rebuildable mount with a Teflon lined bearing for increased durability, combined with a blue anodized body and melonite coated bushing sleeves for corrosion resistance.

The performance side of these mounts is primarily found in the articulation allowed by the bearing. Rubber mounts do not allow for proper free damper movement, hindering shock performance. By eliminating the deflection found in factory rubber mounts and allowing full shock articulation, this solid monoball design eliminates slop and maximizes shock efficiency and performance, allowing for more predictable handling on the street or the track - with almost zero added noise, vibration, and harshness.

Our monoball rear upper shock mounts eliminate any unwanted deflection, maximizing shock efficiency and performance - this means full body shock body articulation, reducing side loading and improving shock wear. Our Turner Motorsport rear upper shock mounts also offer flexibility in shock position - our kit enables you to either raise your shock position by 7.5mm or lower it by 4.5mm. Replacing your struts and shocks? Don't forget the bushings! The rubber mounts for the shocks will go bad over time, especially if you drive hard or the roads are particularly rough. The shock mounts locate the front struts and rear shocks to the car - providing a quiet and vibration-free buffer between the road and the cabin. Shock mounts and bushings can wear out just like any other rubber part on the car. This leads to more noise and harshness reaching the chassis and may complicate your new suspension install. When installing new shocks, that is the perfect time to also replace the mounts. There is no additional time to install them, no special tools required, and doesn't take any extra time! These are the factory BMW Motorsport Group N high performance front upper control arm bushings. These heavy duty rubber bushings are stiffer than the stock bushings to improve steering feel and improve handling. They are great for track use - and Grand Am Cup legal! - yet can also be used on a street driven car - please note these will not be as compliant as the stock rubber bushings. These are for the control arm with the ball joint pointing down, sometimes referred to as the thrust arm or tension strut.

BMW’s are known to have failure prone front thrust arm bushings.  The flexible rubber bushings, even those found in M performance models, allow significant movement of the front wheels to maximize daily driving comfort, but also allow considerable alignment change.  This results in a disconnected and numb road feel, standing between you and a confidence inspiring driving experience.  Eventually the fluid filled rubber bushings fatigue and crack due to continual deflection and ozone degradation, and eventually the damping fluid leaks out resulting in complete failure. 

For the enthusiast looking for superior performance and longevity with a crisp, confidence-inspiring driving experience, our sealed ball joint monoballs are the best solution available!  Our experience with spherical front control arm ball joints go back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 racecars (GS class Champions in 2011).  We wanted to offer E31, E32, E34, E38, E39, E53, E60, E63, E64, and E83 owners similar levels of handling precision and control for the track and street. 

The bearing housing is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and features a knurled OD to ensure a perfect press fit, and utilize a sealed OEM BMW ball joint for exceptional quality and durability, making them completely at home on both the street and track with no compromise.  We have done extensive street, autocross, and track testing to ensure the ball joint used in this bushing design excels in each setting.  The advantage of a sealed ball joint is that it eliminates all unwanted deflection while still allowing complete bind-free movement throughout suspension travel, resulting in exceptional control of wheel alignment.  What you get is superior steering precision, turn-in response, direct braking feedback, and better handling.

We offer these thrust arms with the monoball bushings pre-installed for your convenience. Since BMW recommends the control arms be replaced for every other bushing change, we prefer to sell these as a pre-assembled set. The bushings are also available pre - installed if you want to avoid having these pressed in.

These are BMW Motorsport Group N Rear Outer bushings for the Guide Rod and Upper Link (Wishbone). This is a heavy-duty rubber that is stiffer than stock to resist deflection and twist in the arm. You'll have more stable handling and faster response in the suspension. These bushings are great for track use and legal for some racing classes yet can also be used on a street driven car where extra ride harshness can be tolerated.

The subframe is the heart of a BMW's rear suspension. Nearly all of the suspension arms and bushings mount to the chassis through the subframe. So as the suspension deflects forces from the tires, the subframe eventually absorbs them all. Preventing too much deflection and twist in the subframe will keep your handling and alignment consistent. The stock E82 and E90/E92 rear sub-frame mounts are very soft so putting more torque through the car results in a soft or loose (squirrely) feeling in the rear suspension. This set of 4 mounts are from the M3 and are much stiffer.

These M3 rear subframe bushings are a direct replacement upgrade over the stock mounts. The rear subframe has to come down from the car for these mounts to be pressed in. So now is the perfect time to do other work as well. The time and effort needed to replace them is well worth it, especially on high-horsepower cars (tuned N54, N55, etc).

    The E82 and E90/E92 subframes have an inherent weakness in the rear subframe - the mounts are too soft for the power and torque these cars are capable of. The subframe is the heart of a BMW's rear suspension. As torque is transmitted through the differential and axles and as the tires grip the road, the subframe mounts are working to keeping everything in line. That's a tough task to hold when torque is increased with bigger boost (335i) or even mild tweaks (M3). While the M3 subframe mounts are a great upgrade for the non-M chassis these factory BMW Motorsport subframe mounts go one step further.

    These Motorsport/Group N rear subframe bushings are a direct replacement upgrade over the stock mounts. They are rubber to conform to the rules of the Group N racing class - so they are still acceptable for street use as long as extra ride harshness can be tolerated. The rear subframe has to come down from the car for these mounts to be pressed in. So now is the perfect time to do other work as well - check out our other Motorsport Race bushings or M3 upgrades.
