A leaking N52 oil filter housing gasket can cause a myriad of problems. The most prominent of which is getting oil on your serpentine belt, causing it to shred, get sucked into the engine, and cause catastrophic engine failure. This kit is for all N52 engines.
The oil pan gasket is often a failure point in N52 and N54 engines around the 80k mile mark. We recommend replacing your oil pan gasket with a Genuine BMW gasket, so you don't have to drop your subframe more than once.
