Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. While OE rubber bushings are fine when they are new from the factory, aged and worn out rubber bushings create a multitude of issues that can range from annoying to dangerous. As a factory bushing ages, it begins to harden and become brittle. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow for movement at the differential mounting point. At this point, the differential is free to shift under load causing a noticeable clunking noise under acceleration and deceleration and massively increasing the stress on the driveshaft and axles. Manual transmissions suffer the worst from this as it can make shifting difficult since the differential will shift when the clutch is engaged and disengaged.
By replacing these bushings with full polyurethane, the movement is eliminated since the mounting point is supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. This means less stress on the driveshaft and axles and greater longevity of supporting components.
Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane differential bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved acceleration response, more direct shifting feel and overall improved drivetrain composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings.

The rear lower control arms on E82/E9X models are the weakest link in the rear suspension. The arm is made from folded sheetmetal and it bends and deforms easily. Not only will it deform from potholes and curbs, tow truck drivers love to hook onto them without realizing how weak they are. We have seen other race teams complete the box section to make them stronger. A bent arm will throw off the geometry in the suspension, potentially affecting handling and tire wear. These aluminum arms are both lighter and stronger than the factory sheetmetal arms and is the best solution for chronic bending of the stock arm. These are a direct replacement to your stock arms with no changes needed to your alignment. New high-grade hardware is included.
Note: the stock arm is designed from the factory to be intentionally weak. These arms will bend so that something else in the suspension does not break. Our race cars used the stock sheetmetal arm but we replaced them often. We found that it was better to finish a race with a bent arm than not finish due to a catastrophic failure. The ECS arms are still designed to be the weakest link but are far stronger than the factory arm and will not bend as easily.

Upgrade your BMW's suspension with ECS Tuning Adjustable Sway Bar End Links, designed to provide up to 60mm (2.36") of adjustability. These end links allow you to eliminate sway bar preload or fine-tune it for specific racing needs and corner balancing. When installed, they improve drivetrain clearance and enhance sway bar responsiveness by reducing deflection, ensuring superior handling. Perfect for lowered vehicles using springs, coilovers, or air-ride suspension systems, these adjustable sway bar end links allow you to remove unwanted preload caused by changes in the center-to-center distance between sway bar mounting points. By adjusting the end links to a neutral position, you eliminate sway bar preload, enhancing suspension performance in various driving conditions.
The main body of the ECS Sway Bar End Links is crafted from strong, lightweight 6061-T6 billet aluminum and anodized red for superior corrosion resistance. Featuring left and right-hand threaded center sections and machined hex wrench fittings, these end links allow for quick and easy on-the-car adjustments. Zinc-plated hardware ensures secure and lasting adjustments, while the heavy-duty ball joint ends come with weather-resistant rubber boots and stainless steel wire retainers, providing superior protection against salt, rain, and ozone for extended durability. Each kit also includes zinc-plated Nyloc nuts and hardened steel washers for secure installation and improved contact surface on the sway bar.
These end links are designed, engineered, and rigorously tested by ECS Tuning to ensure the highest quality. Whether you have a lowered or stock suspension, these adjustable sway bar end links are the perfect upgrade, offering a high-quality, heavy-duty replacement that fits your specific needs.
Features:
Range of Adjustment: 255mm (10") to 315mm (12.4") 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum Construction: Red anodized for superior corrosion resistance Zinc-Plated Hardware: Provides durability and superior corrosion protection Right and Left-Hand Threaded Center Sections: Quick and simple on-the-car adjustments Heavy-Duty Ball Joints (M10x1.5): Weather-resistant rubber boots and stainless steel wire retainers for long-lasting durability NOTE: If you've modified your vehicle's suspension with aftermarket struts or coilovers, the mounting location for the sway bar end link may have moved. To confirm fitment with our adjustable end links, please measure the distance between the sway bar and the mounting location on the strut body with the vehicle at ride height and confirm that it is within the 255 mm - 315mm range of adjustment.
Sway bars transmit cornering forces from the outside wheels to the inside wheels, helping to keep the vehicle flat during cornering. This in turn reduces body roll and improves the driver's cornering confidence. OEM rubber sway bar bushings are designed with comfort in mind, allowing the sway bar to articulate while permitting additional movement, leading to less-than-ideal bar retention and causes unnecessary body roll.
Powerflex polyurethane sway bar bushings are firmer than factory rubber bushings, reducing body roll and keeping sway bars in check. Polyurethane bushings won't slop around like OEM bushings, allowing sway bars to function at their fullest potential.

Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushings with full polyurethane this play is eliminated since the subframe is being held in place by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering and acceleration inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.
Powerflex street bushings are ideal for street driven vehicles and those that see occasional autocross or track time. Need bushings for a dedicated track car? Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. These poly inserts provide the inherent benefit of stiffness, which translates body forces much more directly. This means steering and acceleration inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.
