Lackluster performance from a high-performance machine can only mean one thing: poor maintenance. Keep your car at peak operating levels by doing simple things like replacing your air filter. Stock BMW air filters are made from pleated paper. In some cases you can simply remove it from the car and give it a good shake or brush with a very soft bristle brush. But for heavily soiled filters a replacement is the only option. A lot of fresh air is crucial for your BMW's engine to make power. Don't let the filter be the weak link. We only offer OEM quality brands for air filters. Check the Intake category for Performance Air Intakes & Drop In Performance Air Filters

High flow filter replacement to get your engine breathing better than new!

Replace your dirty, restrictive, factory air filter with the ECS Tuning Exact-Fit High Flow Dry Air Filter!

Proper air intake flow will help your engine breathe better, improving power through the power band and improving fuel economy.

Higher flow than stock paper filters, this reusable filter will show an increase in performance immediately. An easy performance modification that is a direct replacement for your OEM filter.

Oiled versus Dry Filters:

Although both options will keep the air to your engine clean and improve airflow, there are a few differences to consider when choosing the best filter for you. Oiled filters do allow slightly better airflow than dry filters, however they require more maintenance. Oiled filters will likely get dirty faster, needing to be cleaned more regularly. When cleaning an oiled filter, it is necessary to oil them with filter oil afterwards. This filter will save you money by no longer needing to replace a paper filter.

Dry filters offer slightly lower airflow but are easier to maintain while still out performing the OE paper filter. Dry filters can be washed with warm soapy water. There is no oiling necessary afterwards.

Both dry and oiled filters flow better than stock and can be reused.
