BMW N54 3.0L Fuel Injector Installation Kit - Single is essential for anyone looking to replace fuel injectors in their BMW engine. This kit includes all the vital components needed for a smooth installation, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. ECS Tuning has designed this kit to simplify the injector replacement process.

Benefits:

• Comprehensive Kit: Includes everything necessary for a complete fuel injector replacement.
• Genuine BMW Parts: Features high-quality OEM components for guaranteed fit and performance.
• Improved Reliability: Ensures a proper seal and connection, reducing the risk of leaks and engine issues.
• Easy Installation: Designed for straightforward installation, making it user-friendly for DIY mechanics.
• Optimal Performance: Helps maintain engine efficiency and performance by ensuring proper fuel delivery.

Common point of failure is the N52/N54 Oil Filter Housing Gasket. When leaks occur here, oil can get on your belts, among other important components, causing engine failure. Replace yours today to avoid future troubles!

Elevate your custom installation with the ECS -10AN O-Ring Boss fitting, a crucial component that connects your ECS Tuning Catch Can to a 3/4" ID hose. This fitting simplifies your plumbing setup, ensuring a seamless solution.

Featuring a pre-installed Viton O-ring, this fitting is engineered for excellence, providing a leak-proof seal that resists the effects of oil and fuel exposure, guaranteeing long-term durability.

The 3/4" nipple is thoughtfully designed with barbs to secure hose position effectively, minimizing the risk of hose disconnection. Keep in mind that clamps and hoses are available for separate purchase. These fittings are sold individually, with most installations requiring a pair of them.

The N54 suffers from a weak point in its crankshaft. It has been reported that when increasing the power to the engine, the crank hub can move or spin slightly under an extreme load. This is most apparent under high-rev downshifts or in the case of increased boost pressure which creates more stress on the engines rotating assembly. In order to keep this from happening, the crank bolt must be secured to the hub to keep it from backing off, but this can be a tricky solution since a simple dab of Loctite will not suffice.

Here is an easy, and cost-effective way to secure the situation; The VTT N54 crank bolt capture. This lightweight and durable ring slips over the head of the crank bolt fully encapsulating it, and locks it to the crank hub and eliminating its ability to spin. The VTT-CBC is 100% Billet Aircraft Grade Aluminum, Anodized black to protect it from the elements, and give it a stealth look. What's more is that it weighs only 1.3 Oz's meaning you aren't adding excess mass to the crankshaft which will avoid any imbalance or vibration issues.

While this is not a full fix for all crank hub spinning issues, the engineers at Vargas have found most issues have stemmed from the bolt itself backing out, and this is a great way to keep that from happening. Extremely lightweight at only 1.3 Oz's it adds virtually no weight to the crank which is important for balance and vibration.

Kit Includes:

• 1x Aluminum Crank Bolt Capture
• 8x Fasteners Gr. 12.9

The VANOS system on your N51, N52, and N54 engine controls the valve timing inside the engine. The system is hydraulically operated based on instructions from the engine computer. It's very complex and BMW has not yet perfected the system. The VAN0S solenoid is the actuator that takes instruction from the ECU and activates the VANOS unit on the front of the engine. When the solenoid is failing (or failed) you can end up with a rough running engine, misfires, bad fuel economy, lack of power, and more. It should trigger multiple fault codes and a check engine light for misfires, camshaft control, VAN0S solenoid, boost pressure control, and maybe others. It's important to thoroughly troubleshoot fault codes but VAN0S solenoids are a known issue with these engines.

The VANOS solenoids are located on the front of the engine and may be replaced without removing many other components. In some cases, you may be able to remove the suspect one, clean it, reinstall, and reset your fault codes. If your fault codes come back it's a strong indication that a replacement is required. Or you can buy the new solenoid and replace instead of doing the work twice.

VANOS solenoid for the intake and exhaust are the same part number. Order 2 if you want to replace them both.

When doing any sort of repair or maintenance there is no replacement for genuine factory parts. Turner Motorsport carries the Genuine BMW brand with pride and has the parts you need to complete your next project with confidence.

We recommend replacing the solenoid sealing gaskets as well when replacing the solenoid. You can find these under T#363393
