BMW Intake Parts for BMW 6 Series F12 (2012+)

Replacement N55 Performance Filter from Burger Motorsport

Enhance your BMW's performance with the Replacement N55 Performance Filter from Burger Motorsport. Specifically designed for N55 engines, this filter optimizes airflow, leading to increased horsepower and torque. Enjoy improved throttle response and fuel efficiency, all while protecting your engine from harmful contaminants.

Key Features:

• Designed for N55 engines
• Optimizes airflow for increased power
• Improves throttle response and fuel efficiency
• Protects engine from contaminants

In BMWs with the N55, the intake system is partially limited. The bottom portion is lightweight and great for feeding cold air to the intake, but the top portion is excessively restrictive. Working with some of the original equipment, this intake continues to utilize the bottom portion of OE ducting and heat shielding, but replaces the top with new high flow ducting and a performance filter. Extensive testing showed up to a 10+ HP gain to the wheels and allows for quicker turbo spool speed. Plus, this design gives you a great sound improvement, letting you hear both the intake and turbo spooling!

Installation and removal is extremely quick and easy, taking only 5 minutes in the driveway!

Features:

• Adds up to 10+ Horsepower
• Dramatic sound improvement
• Super fast install and removal
• Improves throttle response
• Retains OEM airbox base as a heat shield
• Retains OEM cold air ducting
• Looks great under the hood
• Cleanable and reusable filter
• Made in the USA

K&N Aerosol Air Filter Cleaning Kit provides a simple and effective solution to preserve and maintain your K&N air filter, ensuring it delivers optimal performance for a lifetime. This cleaning kit is specifically designed to clean and restore the airflow efficiency of your reusable air filter, saving you money by eliminating the need to purchase replacement filters.

The K&N Aerosol Air Filter Cleaning Kit includes a powerful degreaser that effectively removes dirt, grime, and contaminants from your air filter. Once cleaned, the kit’s specialized oil is used to recoat the filter, ensuring it continues to trap harmful particles while allowing maximum airflow.

Regular maintenance with this kit not only extends the life of your air filter but also enhances your engine’s performance by maintaining high air flow and exceptional filtration. Easy to use, the K&N Aerosol Air Filter Cleaning Kit is an essential tool for keeping your air filter in top condition.

• Lifetime filter maintenance: Extends the lifespan of your K&N air filter, eliminating the need for replacements.
• Improved engine performance: Restores airflow efficiency for optimal engine operation.
• Cost-effective solution: Saves money by allowing you to maintain your existing air filter.
• Easy application: Simple-to-use aerosol spray for cleaning and re-oiling.

This is a replacement filter for the popular 3.5" Burger Motorsports Performance Intakes. It comes pre-oiled with blue filter oil and a new clamp.

Includes:

Reusable BMS 3.5" inverted cone performance air filter (1123) Metal clamp

The diverter valve is responsible for redirecting boost away from the intake when it's not needed. Other cars use a blow-off valve to vent the pressurized air into the atmosphere (the whoosh sound commonly heard on turbo engines) but BMW and other makers use a diverter valve to keep the air circulating through the intake for emissions purposes. A failing diverter valve will lead to a boost leak as turbocharged air leaks past the seals instead of going into the engine when you want it. This is a minor issue on stock engines but a bigger issue on tuned or heavily modded engines (those will use an aluminum diverter valve instead of the stock plastic). The factory diverter valve is plastic which is prone to cracking and electric which will fail without warning. This is a direct replacement diverter valve for cars with the N55 and S63 (X5M/X6M) engines.

N55 takes 1 diverter valve.
S63 takes 2 diverter valves (1 per turbo).

This item fits the following BMW Chassis:
E70 X5M,E71 X6M,E70 X5 X5,E71 X6,E82,E90,E92,E93,F06,F10,F12,F13,F15,F16,F22,F25 X3,F26 X4 X4,F30,F32,F33,F34,F36
S63 engine applies to X5M/X6M only. Fxx M5/M6 uses S63TU engine and does not use a diverter valve at all.

• Seamless plug-and-play installation
• Minimizes leakage for enhanced turbocharger performance
• Retains OE control for optimal operation
• Superior thermal performance to maximize boost without stressing the turbocharger
