BMW Engine Parts for BMW X Series F15 (2014+)

This eccentric shaft is a vital component of your BMW's N55 Valvetronic system, responsible for precise control of valve lift. In the N55 engine, the Valvetronic system uses intermediate levers between the camshaft and lifters to adjust valve lift dynamically. These levers are actuated by this eccentric shaft, which is rotated by an electronically controlled motor under the direction of the engine computer.

Eccentric shaft failure is a common issue in N55 engines, often caused by inadequate lubrication due to extended oil change intervals. The most frequent failure occurs when the eccentric shaft gear wears down, leading to disengagement from the motor's worm drive. Symptoms include multiple fault codes, such as P1014 (Shaft Parity Error), P1017 (Shaft Sensor Plausibility), P1023 (Valvetronic Adjustment Range), and P10E1 (Valvetronic System No Travel Detected).

If your BMW is experiencing Valvetronic-related fault codes, a failing eccentric shaft could be the source of the problem. Opt for this premium direct replacement from Bremmen Parts to restore your Valvetronic system's functionality and ensure a durable, high-quality repair.

The oxygen sensor is vital to the performance and drivability of your car. The engine computer relies on data from the sensor to make adjustments in engine efficiency and performance. When your BMW oxygen sensor fails, the computer can no longer sense the air/fuel ratio, so it ends up guessing -- resulting in poor performance, poor gas mileage, and increased pollution. Make sure your BMW engine performs as it should, and doesn't use more fuel than it needs to, by simply changing your oxygen sensor today. There is no lifespan on O2 sensors but there are several fault codes that indicate a failed sensor (O2 monitoring, cat efficiency, O2 heating circuit, O2 readiness, and others). The O2 sensor is heated and has a self-calibration feature so once you get the codes or feel performance has suffered, a new sensor is a good starting point to get you back to peak performance. Bosch's Oxygen sensors are high quality and will give you the the longest and best performance for the price.

The GENIUS5 is an exceptional addition to our lineup boasting incredible power, top-notch performance, energy efficiency, and a compact design. The GENIUS5 is a versatile 6-volt and 12-volt charger, maintainer, and desulfator with a 5-amp rating. It's engineered for use with lead-acid batteries in automotive, marine, and deep-cycle applications, covering flooded, gel, AGM, maintenance-free variants, and even lithium-ion batteries.

Features:

• Do more with Genius - Designed for 6-volt and 12-volt lead-acid automotive, marine, and deep-cycle batteries, including flooded, gel, AGM, and maintenance-free, plus lithium-ion batteries.
• Enjoy precision charging - An integrated thermal sensor detects the ambient temperature and alters the charge to eliminate over-charging in hot climates and under-charging in cold climates.
• Charge dead batteries - Charges dead batteries as low as 1-volt. Or use the all-new Force Mode that allows you to take control and manually begin charging dead batteries down to zero volts.
• Simple to set up and use - Plug-in, connect to the battery, select a charge mode, and start charging your battery. A fully-automatic, worry-free battery charger for year-round use.
• Restore your battery - Detects sulfation and acid stratification and restores lost performance for stronger engine starts and extended battery life.
• Compatible with all types of vehicles - Charge and maintain cars, motorcycles, lawnmowers, ATVs, tractors, trucks, SUVs, boats, classic cars, hot rods, and more - you name it.

Often an oversight in maintenance, ignition components are also susceptible to wear and tear. Spark Plugs can accumulate carbon, reducing the spark intensity and it's ability to properly ignite the air/fuel mixture, leading to misfires and generally declining performance. Other ignition components, such as coils, boots, wires, caps, and rotors, can also wear out over time due to factors like heat and contamination, preventing the current from reaching the spark plug.

To start over fresh with all new components, we now offer these Ignition Service Kits. Each kit comes with brand new OE quality components, replacing any potential fault points in your ignition system for peak performance!

See kit contents below for a complete list of included components.
