When we designed this catch we wanted to have the most function options available, the best separation method, and the easiest to service. The Turner engineered catch cans offer a pre-setup design based ion desired flow direction, however, this does not limit you to this flow. The inner baffle orientation can be easily adjusted to flow in both directions in case you decide to move this catch can to a different vehicle. A 4 chamber system baffle system inside the catch can was engineered to create multiple changes in the direction of airflow within the separator to cause oil droplets to fall out of suspension before exiting the catch can. Having a closed/recirculated design reduces oil ingestion and promotes cleaner emissions and odor-less operation.

The N55 engine is prone to oil starvation issues when driven hard on the road and especially when used on track. The T-6061 anodized MMR sump baffle features a total of 7 one-way oil control flaps and specific baffling that MMR has been tested over thousands of miles of track and road use. Unlike other solutions available that require a plate to be welded in, the MMR sump baffle is bolted into place making the addition of the baffle considerably easier and more accessible to install.

Higher mileage engines and especially ones with direct-injection are prone to carbon build-up on the backs of the inlet valves. However, when deposits are removed by the catch can's filter and separation process, the intake air receives less oil and more oxygen, resulting in a cleaner, more reliable, and better performing engine. MMR's Performance catch can kit For N55 powered M235i's and M2's was designed to help owners ensure their engines are running at optimum performance This is done by removing unwanted oil from the PCV system before it can get back into the intake. The T-6061 billet filter housing, anodized in the trademark MMR finish, comes with a billet bracket for easy installation, including all hoses and fittings necessary for installation. It's no secret that F Chassis B58 BMW turbo motors can suffer from oil control problems causing oil to blow through and coat the intercooler and charge piping, gunking up intake valves and the VANOS system, lowering the effective octane, and generally degrading engine performance. The higher your boost levels the more apparent these problems become. The solution to this problem has finally arrived. The BMS oil catch can. While there are other catch cans on the market they all fall short in various areas. Some are mounted on the hot/turbo side of the motor preventing proper vapor condensation. Others utilize hoses that are too small and runs that are too long to allow proper PCV ventilation causing internal motor/ring sealing issues. Some have insufficient or no internal baffle system while others have internal baffle systems that are too restrictive. Some even bypass the PCV system all together venting crankcase gas and odor to atmosphere. Most are simply repackaged oil catch cans from smaller / lower power motors shoehorned in to place in the turbo BMW engine bay. To solve these problems BMS designed their oil catch can kit from the ground up specifically for the the turbo BMW application. It features 100% CNC machining with zero welding for a precision fit and long life. The can itself is guaranteed for the life of the vehicle. The hoses exceed the OEM PCV piping in diameter and that flow rate is maintained throughout the entire oil catch can ensuring no excessive crankcase pressure buildup. The BMS OCC retains the factory fully closed loop PCV operation preventing any PCV vapor from leaking to atmosphere. The mounting locations are selected to minimize the line length, allow more efficient operation, and retain a stealth look. Install takes around 20 minutes, includes all required hardware, and is 100% reversible. Simply unscrew the base of the can or use the drain plug to safely dispose of captured oil with the rest of your used motor oil during oil changes. Made in USA.
