BMW Intake Parts for BMW 3 Series F30 (2012+)

This is a drop-in stock replacement aFe performance air filter that installs into your BMW's factory airbox. This version used aFe's highest flowing filter media, which uses a lightly oil gauze to filter out dirt and particulates, while allowing more air to flow to the intake. We also carry this filter in the "ProDry" grey filter media, which is oil-free for only slightly less performance and no maintenance.

Fits in vehicles with the following engines: B46 2.0L, B58 3.0L

Silver Bullet throttle body spacers create turbulence in the air flow just prior to entry into the engine increasing horsepower, torque and improving throttle response and fuel efficiency. Silver Bullet throttle body spacers are constructed out of durable 6061-T6 billet aluminum and use a unique serrated/helix entry to create turbulence at the manifold while eliminating the annoying whistle found in other helix-only throttle spacers.

Serrated/Helix Design: The Serrated/Helix combination design creates intake turbulence in the combustion chamber. This turbulence breaks up the fuel which creates a more complete combustion cycle increasing horsepower, torque and improving throttle response. The Serrated/Helix combination design also reduces intake whistle that occurs with helix-only designs.

6061-T6 Billet Aluminum Construction: All Silver Bullet Throttle Body Spacers are constructed from 6061-T6 billet aluminum precision machined for light weight, high strength and perfect fit and finish.

Longer Intake Track: Adding a Silver Bullet Throttle Body spacer lengthens the intake track which helps increase intake air speed, performance and improve throttle response.

This Silver Bullet throttle body spacer produces up to 6 hp and 10 lbs. x ft. torque.

This throttle body spacer is 50-state legal (CARB E.O Number D-550-11/D-550-17).

Includes stainless steel clamps for a leak-free seal and heavy-duty 5-Ply reinforced silicone coupling for strength.

Mandrel-bent Tubing:
Constructed of 2-1/2" to 2-3/4" mandrel-bent aluminum tubing and powder-coated textured-red for heat and corrosion resistance. The smooth transition mandrel bends decrease turbulence which increases horsepower and torque. The high-temp wrinkle-black powder-coating insulates the tube from engine heat and protects the tube from corrosion.

The N55 intake system is a perfect example of Eventuri's “Complete System” principal. It demonstrates the perfect balance between allowing for unrestricted airflow with an open filter housing and cold air saturation with proprietary scoop and duct combination. The Eventuri system uses a Patent Pending Carbon fibre Housing which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the MAF tube. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield but a unique design which invokes the Venturi affect.

The filter housing comprises of a high flow filter, aluminium cowl, laser cut bracket and the carbon pod itself. The carbon pod shrouds the reverse mounted filter and smoothly shapes the airflow down to the intake tube. This smooth reduction in cross sectional area invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large velocity stack.

The B58 3.0L Turbo benefits from aFe's oversized cotton filter element in a Rotomold plastic housing that blocks heat saturated air while flowing more volume of cooler dense air. The system has been CAD designed to achieve the maximum volumetric flow rate into the turbo. The intake tube is a smooth, unobstructed single piece from the air inlet to the airbox and incorporates a port for the air flow sensor. aFe's advanced engineering and design have made this a direct bolt-in intake upgrade.

The aFe filter has been designed specifically for this application and uses aFe's high flow/low maintenance design. The ProDry S filter has an oil-free filter media for less maintenance. For the best flowing filter, with the best performance gain, we always recommend the standard aFe Pro5R filter (which has a blue pre-oiled filter media), but this oil-free filter flows only slightly less than the blue Pro5R style aFe filter, and requires no re-oiling after cleaning the filter.

The stock intercooler design is commendable for single runs at the stock boost levels, but add any more boost and the system is quickly overwhelmed. As the ECU corrects for heat soak, the boost will be decreased and power reduced. Installing an upgraded intercooler is essential to keeping the engine computer from restraining boost as temperatures climb and helps to maintain boost levels even in the face of elevated turbocharger temperatures. The Evolution Racewerks Competition intercooler is much larger than stock, providing more surface area for cooling air to pass through. Even heat soak at low speeds is reduced, making this a worthwhile addition even for stock or mildly tuned engines.

Available in either Brushed, Polished or Type III Hard Anodized Black, this intercooler looks great and holds up! The hard anodized will not only give your car the stealthy look but will also protect the intercooler fins from damage. Without any reduction in thermal efficiency, hard anodizing will prevent your fins from getting deformed as easily from daily driving or road debris.
