A performance intercooler is a must when looking to get the most performance possible from your vehicle. Stock intercoolers are great for daily drivers but don't quite meet the demands for airflow and cooling when used on the track. CSF is here to remedy this situation with their all new High Performance Intercooler.

CSF has built up a reputation for themselves as one of the top contenders in the aftermarket community for performance cooling. With the success of their side mounted intercoolers for the S55 engine in the F8X M3 and M4, they have shifted their focus to the N55 and N20 platform. Their designs are a tried and true method using a bar and plate, stepped core intercooler. This, combined with the naturally high build quality of CSF products, will enable this motors to freely pull a much greater amount of air into the intake all while keeping things cooler than stock. This allows the engine to build power all throughout the RPM-band without the restriction that would normally start to be seen above 4500 RPM.

Wagner Competition intercoolers (#200001046) are engineered in Germany to be a superior N20/N55 intercooler than the factory part. With 85% more surface area than the factory IC the Wagner-designed kit is much more efficient. And that helps maintain your boost levels and performance! The factory intercooler is quickly overcome with heat and that leads to a loss of boost and performance. Factor in greater boost levels and other modifications and the more heat soak will put you out of the running. The solution is an intercooler with more capacity for cooling and the best intercooler upgrade is one that not only works but also installs with a minimum amount of fuss.

This competition intercooler kit utilizes a tube fin center core unit, for cooler temperatures and less pressure drop. The Dynamic Air Scoop (D.A.S.) from aFe Power is a very simple, bolt-on product that increases air flow and velocity through the factory kidney bean grille. This lightweight rotomold intake scoop is made of carbon fiber. You will notice the improved throttle response as the speed of your intake air flow is increased.

This scoop is a perfect addition to an aFe Stage 2 Sealed intake system part number 54-82202 and 51-82202. All necessary hardware is included.

aFe has engineered the Momentum GT intake to outperform the stock air box and deliver substantial power and torque gains over the factory system. The Diesel 328d benefits from aFe's oversized cotton filter element in a Rotomold plastic housing that blocks heat saturated air while flowing more volume of cooler dense air. The system has been CAD designed to achieve the maximum volumetric flow rate into the turbo. The intake tube is a smooth, unobstructed single piece from the air inlet to the airbox and incorporates a port for the air flow sensor. aFe's advanced engineering and design have made this a direct bolt-in 328d intake upgrade.

The aFe filter has been designed specifically for this application and uses aFe's highest-flowing filter material and design. The Pro5R filter uses five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media to provide maximum airflow for best performance results. Washable and reusable for multiple cleaning cycles, the tall, open, evenly spaced pleats provide excellent dust holding capacity for a longer service cycle between cleanings. This intake is also available in a traditional paper filter media.
