Every VRSF Charge Pipe is constructed from mandrel bent, T6061 grade aluminum including the flanges. Each flange is precision machined from CNC billet aluminum, including the throttle body, intercooler, and vacuum connections. After these are tig welded and hand-finished, they’re tested on multiple jigs in order to ensure proper fitment and a reliable, leak-free connection. Each VRSF charge pipe is finished in a durable wrinkle black powder-coated finish that blends in perfectly with the engine bay. VRSF also includes one plugged 1/8' NPT bung that can be used for water injection, boost leak testing, or as a boost source. The OEM charge pipe is prone to failure at both stock and tuned boost levels which is why VRSF includes everything necessary to replace your flimsy OEM chargepipe including high quality, 4-ply silicone couplers as well as stainless steel t-bolt clamps. Increase throttle response and decreases turbo lag. Durable wrinkle black powder coated finish. 4 ply silicone connectors & stainless steel t-bolt clamps included. Constructed from T6061 mandrel bent, tig welded aluminum. Includes a 1/8' NPT bungs for meth/water injection. Throttle body matched 3' piping. These are also usually replaced when adding the 330 manifold to a 325, 328. Price is for a set of 6 - one for each intake runner. On cars with V8 engines 2 sets are required.

In BMW's with the N55, the intake system is partially limited. The bottom portion is lightweight and great for feeding cold air to the intake, but the top portion is excessively restrictive. Working with some of the original equipment, this intake continues to utilize the bottom portion of OE ducting and heat shielding, but replaces the top with new high flow ducting and a performance filter. Extensive testing showed up to a 10+ HP gain to the wheels and allows for quicker turbo spool speed. Plus, this design gives you a great sound improvement, letting you hear both the intake and turbo spooling!

Installation and removal is extremely quick and easy, taking only 5 minutes in the driveway!

In BMW's with the B46 engine, the intake system is partially limited. The bottom portion is lightweight and great for feeding cold air to the intake, but the top portion is excessively restrictive. Working with some of the original equipment, this intake continues to utilize the bottom portion of OE ducting and heat shielding, but replaces the top with a new high flow inverted performance cone filter. Extensive testing showed up to a 10+ HP gain to the wheels and allows for quicker turbo spool speed. Plus, this design gives you a great sound improvement, letting you hear both the intake and the turbo spooling!

Vargas Turbo has released their very own BMW B58 vacuum/boost adapter. These go inline with the intake manifold fitting and provide a full boost/vacuum signal from the manifold. This fitting adds two 1/8" NPT bungs to accept any fitting that has 1/8" NPT threads. You can choose three configuration options: Fitting by itself Fitting with one 1/4" barb and one plug Fitting with two 1/4" barbs Once installed it tucks perfectly under your engine cover. These are perfect for running your PI switch off manifold pressure, which is much more accurate than the charge pipe, and they are also great for BOVs running the proper size line without having to drill a hole in your manifold. These do space out any sensors etc giving inaccurate readings like some of the other brands do.

The diverter valve is responsible for redirecting boost away from the intake when it's not needed. Other cars use a blow-off valve to vent the pressurized air into the atmosphere (the whoosh sound commonly heard on turbo engines) but BMW and other makers use a diverter valve to keep the air circulating through the intake for emissions purposes. A failing diverter valve will lead to a boost leak as turbocharged air leaks past the seals instead of going into the engine when you want it. This is a minor issue on stock engines but a bigger issue on tuned or heavily modded engines (those will use an aluminum diverter valve instead of the stock plastic). The factory diverter valve is plastic which is prone to cracking and electric which will fail without warning. This is a direct replacement diverter valve for cars with the N55 and S63 (X5M/X6M) engines.

N55 takes 1 diverter valve.
S63 takes 2 diverter valves (1 per turbo).

This item fits the following BMW Chassis:
E70 X5M,E71 X6M,E70 X5 X5,E71 X6,E82,E90,E92,E93,F06,F10,F12,F13,F15,F16,F22,F25 X3,F26 X4 X4,F30,F32,F33,F34,F36
S63 engine applies to X5M/X6M only. Fxx M5/M6 uses S63TU engine and does not use a diverter valve at all.
