In addition, the rotors have been upgraded from stock to ensure that they not only hold up to the rigors of performance braking, but also last as long as possible. To do this they started with precision drilling to give the rotors additional cooling. Next was the addition of rounded slots in the friction surface. This allows gas and debris to be easily wiped away, keeping the contact patch on the rotor clear for smooth, safe braking. Finally, the coated the rotor with a Silver Zinc Dichromate plating to add both looks and rust and corrosion prevention to the rotors as well.
