Our B Series ignition coils are designed with performance and efficiency in mind. An engine needs 3 main components to run (Air, Fuel, Spark.) Ignition coils are responsible for 1/3 the operation your engine and it would be smart to weigh the options when shopping. The Turner F3X N20 oil catch can was designed with a strategically positioned 4 chamber baffle system with an added easy drain feature. The intent behind this design was to offer the most effective oil/air separation while being incredibly easy to maintain. The included drain kit allows you to route the drain hose to a mounted location near the belly pan of the vehicle making it convenient to empty at oil change intervals. Modern-day emissions regulations require the use of a closed crankcase ventilation (PCV) system to recirculate combustion blow-by gases from the crankcase back into the intake to be burned. Unfortunately, these blow-by gases contain water vapor (which is a byproduct of combustion) and pick up oil mist from and the windage cloud and cam lubrication system as they travel through the crankcase. Due to less than 100% effective air/oil separation in the stock PCV system, some oil mist and water vapor gets carried back to the intake tract and over time causes oil deposits in the intake manifold, intake ports, and on the back of the intake valves. All will eventually lead to poor performance and reduced fuel economy, and the presence of this oil mist in the intake charge may even increase the risk of engine-damaging detonation. With forced induction, track use, and/or extended high RPM usage, these symptoms increase as the factory PCV system is overwhelmed, and a catch can becomes a must for your N20 powered BMW. We set out to bulletproof your N20 PCV system with a durable silicone breather hose, designed to provide a comprehensive upgrade and permanent replacement for the factory plastic hose. By replacing the flimsy, heat-hardened OEM plastic hose with a four-ply fluorosilicone hose, you'll experience peace of mind knowing your N20 is free from the inevitable return of oil leaks, vacuum leaks, and drivability concerns that would have been.

NOTE: For the N54, these plugs are 2 Steps Colder, while for the N55 they are only 1 Step Colder. When it comes time to change your spark plugs, you may wonder about colder stepped spark plugs as many others have. Colder spark plugs work by pulling more heat out of the engine's cylinders (making them "colder") and dissipating it into the engine's head, which is then cooled by the cooling system. Depending on how you have your engine built, these could be a great addition! Colder plugs can help prevent engine knock and prevent the tip of the spark plug from melting or misfiring. There are two rules that most people tend to go by when deciding on which spark plugs to buy: The first rule of thumb is that with every 100 horsepower added, you should run spark plugs that are a step colder than your stock plugs. This is generally accepted across the motorsports community but unfortunately isn't always the most accurate measurement of when you will need colder plugs. The second rule is to go a step colder any time you massively alter cylinder temperatures by adding forced induction to an NA engine, by increasing compression ratio, after altering timing in a major way, or by changing fuel types to something with a higher octane rating such as racing fuel. Adding spark plugs that are a step colder outside of these conditions, with no real change to the engine, can actually hurt more than help by leading to spark plugs fouling quicker than normal and by making the car harder to start in cold weather conditions. We suggest talking to your engine builder or tuner before making the change, or you can call our Turner Motorsport sales staff to discuss what modifications have been made to your vehicle and see if these plugs are right for you!

Though BMW's B58 engine has proven to be mostly reliable, it does have one well-known problem, failure of the PCV Valve. This issue is especially common on cars with upgraded turbos. Signs that your BMW has experienced this failure include misfires, a rough idle, oil in the the intake/chargepipe, or white smoke coming from the exhaust. The good news is that this is easily fixed and is very affordable! This kit contains all of the items necessary to repair your PCV valve and restore the smooth operation of your B58 engine.

This relay is used for the SMG system on the E46 M3 and various applications including secondary air systems on other BMW's. If you find that your SMG-equipped E46 M3 is not starting, this is one of the first places to check as it controls power to the hydraulic unit (the car will not start without hydraulics). This allows for more current to be supplied to your low-pressure fuel pump (LPFP) without risking thermal overload, which often leads to your car shutting down. This means that you won't have to worry about being stranded on the side of the road while waiting for your EKP module to cool down, especially when you've installed a large low-pressure fuel pump such as a Walbro 525lph. How does the integrated automatic cooling work? The integrated automatic cooling works by us installing a thermal activation switch directly onto the new half-bridge IC. When the half-bridge IC reaches 50°C, the 40mm fan will turn on and keep running until the IC is below 50°C or until the EKMP3 stops receiving power. Can I run more than 1 low-pressure fuel pump off of this module? No. We do not recommend that you use more than one low-pressure fuel pump with any EKP module due to the factory wiring supplying power to the EKP Module is only 12 gauge, which is not rated for the type of power demands that two low-pressure fuel pumps would require.
