This wrench will make removing or installing Girling style brake caliper mounting bolts/guide pins or sway bar end link nuts easier. For sway bar end links, this wrench fits between the ball joint and swaybar to hold the stud while the nut is removed or installed. Not applicable to all chassis, some vehicles and/or parts manufacturers require use of a hex or torx wrench to be installed in to the end of the stud. Not to be used in high torque applications. Bavarian Autosport served the needs of BMW and MINI enthusiasts from 1974-2019. EBC Yellowstuff brake pads are designed for high friction and strong stopping power, with good heat resistance for heavy braking. In 2021, the formulation was updated to remove copper for environmental compliance, resulting in a longer lifespan but also a longer bedding-in period. As a result, Yellowstuff is no longer recommended for track use and is best suited for high-performance street driving and heavy-duty applications such as towing with trucks and SUVs. For track day use, EBC now recommends Bluestuff pads, which offer quicker bed-in times and better performance in racing conditions while remaining street-friendly.
