The M57 twin-turbo diesel’s two-stage setup depends on its large low-pressure turbo once RPM and load increase. The oil line feeding that turbo runs low on the engine, from the oil distribution piece to the turbo, where heat from the exhaust and turbo housing wears down the factory rubber hose sections over time. As the rubber hardens and the crimped fittings loosen, oil starts dripping onto the exhaust and coating the underside of the engine. Left alone, the leak can cut oil flow to a turbo that’s expensive to replace. Our braided low-pressure supply line fixes this weak spot for good. The M57 twin-turbo diesel’s two-stage setup depends on its large low-pressure turbo once RPM and load increase. From the factory, this line is rubber hose crimped onto steel fittings, and the rubber is the part that fails. We construct our line using a PTFE inner hose wrapped in stainless steel braid, which holds up to heat, pressure and oil far better than rubber. On top of that, a black PVC shell keeps the braid from chafing against nearby parts and keeps the factory look under the hood. Our line comes with a new banjo bolt, adapter fitting, and copper crush washers. It follows the factory routing and fits in the factory location with no modifications.

Oil leaks from the valve cover are a common issue on high-mileage S55 engines and should be addressed before they lead to bigger problems. Repeated heat cycles can cause the original plastic valve cover and gasket to warp, crack, or lose their seal over time. This Bremmen aluminum valve cover for the BMW S55 engine is a premium upgraded replacement, engineered for superior strength and longevity. Featuring a durable aluminum housing and an integrated PCV system, it offers a reliable, direct-fit solution to replace the factory valve cover and restore proper engine sealing.
Features pre-installed valve cover gasket and integrated PCV. Without oil cap!
