Why do so many MINI owners suffer from carbon buildup on their intake valve? The answer is oil being recycled through the intake tract to be burned. With the M7 Oil Catch Can, your MINI Cooper's engine will be protected from excessive oil and hydrocarbon buildup which leads to performance-hindering oil film and sludge along your intake tract, on your engine control sensors and on your engine's intake valves. Because the 2007 & up MINI is direct injection the intake valves do not benefit from the cleaning action provided by the gasoline as in older port injection engines. Before ordering, check whether you need round or flat pin connectors for your MINI's coil pack. The type of pin is determined by the connectors that link the coil to the wiring harness. To check, slide the red locking tab to the right, press down on the tab, and pull the connector off the coil. Examine the pins to see if they are flat or round. Reattach the connector by pushing it back on until it clicks, then slide the red locking tab back to the locked position.

For the US E36 M3. Schrick 264/256 degree camshafts boost mid-high end power for that extra motivation at higher rpm. Low-end torque is not seriously affected due to the M50/M52s VAN0S System. And, higher profile cams work extremely well with an upgraded intake and exhaust. When upgrading the cams there are other areas you must take into consideration.
