This exhaust gasket is used to seal the exhaust midpipes to the downpipes. We also recommend replacing the bolts (11621711954, 4 required) as well.

Feedback from the oxygen sensor provides closed-loop control of the injected quantity of fuel for optimum air-fuel mixture, enabling virtually complete combustion to take place. Contaminants in gas and certain atmospheric conditions can drastically shorten the life of any oxygen sensor, therefore they should be checked with every periodic maintenance and changed if necessary. Our Turner Z3M Axle-Back was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team at Turner. Nothing but the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer and rigorous long term product testing.

The oxygen sensor is vital to the performance and drivability of your car. The engine computer relies on data from the sensor to make adjustments in engine efficiency and performance. When your BMW oxygen sensor fails, the computer can no longer sense the air/fuel ratio, so it ends up guessing -- resulting in poor performance, poor gas mileage, and increased pollution. Make sure your BMW engine performs as it should, and doesn't use more fuel than it needs to, by simply changing your oxygen sensor today. There is no lifespan on O2 sensors but there are several fault codes that indicate a failed sensor (O2 monitoring, cat efficiency, O2 heating circuit, O2 readiness, and others). The O2 sensor is heated and has a self-calibration feature so once you get the codes or feel performance has suffered, a new sensor is a good starting point to get you back to peak performance.

This is a Bosch O2 sensor - also known as a Lambda probe. Bosch is an OEM supplier to BMW.

Upgrading the sound:

This exhaust allows you to turn up the volume and let the 4 cylinder boast its smooth and hearty exhaust tone. Let's be honest, what's the point of owning a f chassis if you're not going to upgrade the exhaust? Turner's signature muffler design allows you to transfer the exhaust valve from your factory system directly onto your new Turner system. The Turner exhaust signature muffler design allows for two flow paths that change both tone and volume. With the vehicle in eco or comfort mode, the valves remain closed, with the closed valves the exhaust system allows the gasses to flow through the muffler toning down the volume and giving a more refined exhaust note. While in driving modes sport or sport+ the valve opens and the flow path changes to a "straight flow path" essentially turning into a straight-piped exhaust for the least amount of restriction and the most amount of B48 sound!

Turner CAD designed the F3x N55 muffler delete in-house, ensuring that each unit has integrated hangers and is mandrel bent to precisely fit in the factory exhaust location. Not a fan of the turndown? There's a cut line to add optional aftermarket tips Coupled with our Schwaben Exhaust Pipe Cutter, this muffler delete can easily be installed in your garage.

Turner Muffler Delete Kit removes the heavy and restrictive factory exhaust muffler and replaces it with a high flow, straight-through exhaust pipe. This adds a louder exhaust note in a simple, cost effective way without replacing the entire exhaust system and is fully compatible with the OEM rear valance. The muffler delete creates a noticeable increase in exhaust sound and more exhilarating turbo noise, without adding significant drone at cruising speeds. As an added bonus, our muffler delete shaves off 17.0 lbs. , weighing in at only 8.0 lbs compared to OEM muffler at 25.0 lbs!
