Is the 740 exhaust too tame for your ears? Supersprint has designed this muffler to give a little more volume and presence to the exhaust without detracting from the 7-series super-luxury base. Supersprint's 50+ years of exhaust design and manufacturing give them insight and expertise into tuning the exhaust for power and sound. With the F01/F02 740 they identified both the factory center resonator and rear mufflers as opportunities for increasing volume and giving them 740 a sportier exhaust sound. With this system you have two resonator options - a freer-flowing resonated design and an option to completely delete the resonator. Both options are used with the Supersprint performance mufflers which have been engineered to work with the stock exhaust tips in the bumper (see photos). This way you can get a louder and more sporting exhaust sound and retain a factory appearance.

Many people know that one of the main keys to getting power from a turbo is to open up the exhaust. Larger piping and less restrictions mean the exhaust gas can flow more easily which is less work for the turbo(s) and engine and that frees up torque and horsepower. These 100-cell metallic sport cats sit in oversized 60-65mm piping and are perfect for someone who installed cat-less downpipes but want some catalytic action on the exhaust to avoid bad smells and pollution. There are no crushed sections in the tubing, unlike the factory system, which contributes to improved flow. These are a direct replacement for the stock secondary cats and bolt to the turbo downpipe. At the back end these are clamped to a section 2 (stock or Supersprint X-Pipe).

This pipe replaces the factory section 1 with larger 76mm tubing. With larger piping there is less restriction which helps the turbo work more efficiently. The turbo can make more power and torque and will last longer thanks to the reduce effort or pushing exhaust gases. This is a full stainless and mandrel-bent pipe that will connect to the factory or Supersprint downpipe.

This full Supersprint exhaust for the V8 645ci and 650i will punch up the sound to give your car a more athletic and sporting experience. The stock system incorporates a muffler and two sets of resonators and is very good at keeping engine noise at luxury-car levels but if you've wanted more of that V8 growl to come through this Supersprint system should be just right. This awesome Mach Force XP Down Pipe produces 14 horsepower and 39 lbs. x ft. of torque at 1900 RPM. The Mach Force XP down pipe is constructed of mandrel bent, brushed 304 stainless steel tubing and flanges and uses all factory mounting locations. Using a unique resonance chamber to capture sound waves and minimize exhaust "drone", this system produces an aggressive tone on throttle but a smooth sound at cruising speeds without affecting performance. This down pipe is 100% TIG-Welded. Note: this product will activate the check engine light.

Placing resonators after cat-less downpipes will help tune the sound from the S63TU engine. By removing the factory catted downpipes you're removing a large sound muffler as well and adding resonators can help tone down the open exhaust. These Supersprint resonators are for both banks of the exhaust (left and right). They are full stainless steel with a mandrel bent pipe for optimized exhaust flow. The Supersprint resonators have been tuned to work with the rest of their exhaust.

All E39 fitment note: the fitment of this muffler is designed for the stock E39 rear bumper. The tips will sit below the bumper line. Supersprint produces a different muffler for the 540i M-Sport rear bumper (Supersprint #785926).
525i/530i fitment note: the Supersprint section 2 resonator-delete is used for all 6-cylinder E39 but the factory center resonator is different for the 525i/530i models. Instead of a slip-fit or clamp-on connection it must be welded at an existing seam on the exhaust. The whole exhaust must be removed for this installation. Refer to this image for an illustration. This does not apply if you're only installing the muffler (with small connecting pipe).

The Supersprint rear mufflers for the turbo Z4 is a subtle sound and performance improvement for those that think the stock muffler is too tame. This sport rear muffler is a free-flowing design with larger piping to improve flow and tune the sound. With the stock cats in place the sound is still subdued but the Supersprint muffler makes an alteration to the exhaust note to be a little more sporty and aggressive but not intrusive or obnoxious. This system includes the center X-pipe with slightly oversized piping for improved flow over the stock system. This system uses two exhaust tips per side, giving more muscle and presence like BMW uses on their "M" models.
