These front straight pipes replace the front cat section or front resonator on Euro-spec exhausts. Euro models were either equipped with a cat or a resonator. These Supersprint pipes only install with the rest of the Supersprint Euro exhaust. This section is also used on US-spec models when upgrading to the Supersprint or BMW Euro headers.

Fitment Note: This section 1 is based on the Euro-spec exhaust system which is different than the US exhaust layout. It will bolt on to the Euro M5/M6 headers using the original 3-bolt flanges. The US exhaust has a different manifold and 2-bolt flanges.

This Supersprint center section will delete the secondary silencer/resonator in the stock exhaust and fit with the Supersprint sport rear muffler. The front of this section is clamped to the stock front resonator. By eliminating one of the silencers, and matched to the rear muffler, more of the Z4's perky engine note will come through. And with less restriction more torque and horsepower can be released.

When building your vehicle for the track, there are a lot of considerations to take into account. One major factor is your exhaust system. Many exhaust systems are only designed for so much exhaust flow, which can really limit the total amount of potential power your engine can produce. To address this issue with heavily tuned, turbocharged, or supercharged E46 M3s, Supersprint now offers a new line of high performance Center Twin-Pipe Exhaust Pipes that are designed to provide you with a significantly higher exhaust flow than their original performance exhaust pipes, 787503 (Resonated) and 787513 (Non-Resonated), designed for street and light track performance.
This twin pipe system utilizes two high flow pipes instead of a single large pipe, allowing for up to 25% greater total exhaust flow. Thanks to the increased total flow, these center pipes are capable of supporting S54 engines producing over 400whp, perfect for all highly modified street cars or performance track vehicles.
This specific option offer's pipes that are resonated to prevent excessive noise and drone that may be experienced at cruising RPM speeds.

Supersprint revised their rear muffler designs to offer this 'Generation 2' version - smaller body and freer flow than the standard Supersprint muffler but quieter and more civilized than the full Lightweight Racing mufflers. It's still lighter than the stock original or standard Supersprint mufflers. The sound is a more refined version of the full racing mufflers with less drone and quieter overall but still with plenty of ripping S54 aural tone.

Want more rasp and volume to come through from your exhaust? This Supersprint section 2 will replace and delete the factory resonator that sits before the muffler. Without the resonator there to dampen the sound the overall volume will increase and let more S54 rasp come through. Combine this with the Supersprint section 1 straight pipes for even more Motorsport rasp. This section 2 pipe will bolt up to a stock section 1 or cat section and any muffler. It's perfect for getting just a little more volume from your stock exhaust without changing the muffler.

The Dinan sport muffler is designed to compliment the 135i and not overpower the driver and passengers with harsh tones. Dinan engineers their exhausts to sound great and be a natural fit to the character of the car as well as produce more power and torque. Dual 3.5" stainless tips engraved with the Dinan logo fill out the rear valence (choose either polished or satin black tips). Annoying highway drone has also been engineered out of the system. The MACH Force XP exhaust system for the BMW 325i/ci 330i/ci E46 produced 13 horsepower and 15 lbs. x ft. of torque. This exhaust system is constructed from 2.25” mandrel bent 409 stainless steel and is MIG-welded for high strength. The system uses a true dual in and dual out high flow muffler with 2.25” tubing which improves performance across the entire power band while maintaining a great tone. To finish off this exhaust are dual, double wall resonated angle cut 304 stainless steel tips. This exhaust uses all factory hanger locations for a hassle-free installation. No modifications necessary.
