This Supersprint center section will delete the secondary silencer/resonator in the stock exhaust and fit with the Supersprint sport rear muffler. The front of this section is clamped to the stock secondary cats via a set of connecting pipes. By eliminating the resonator, and matched to the rear muffler, more engine sound can be heard. After Supersprint headers is the E38 section 1 exhaust. The stock section 1 contains a set of restrictive catalytic converters. For off-road or competition use Supersprint offers cat-delete Test Pipes or sport metallic catalytic converters. With improved flow from larger piping and less-restrictive cat performance and throttle response will increase as well as increase sound and reduced weight. The straight-flow cat design allows much better flow than the stock cats, giving a significant horsepower and torque gain and a throaty sound. Supersprint section 1 are a direct fit to Supersprint headers but will not fit with stock exhaust manifolds. A Supersprint section 2 is recommended after these.

Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

This Supersprint center resonator is tuned to work with their muffler system to provide an aggressive but not wildly loud exhaust note. Supersprint makes two center section options - with or without a resonator. When planning your exhaust layout this will likely be the final section to choose. If you're deleting the secondary cats for more power you may want to opt for the tuned resonator to keep the exhaust note quieter. If you won't be deleting your secondary cats, opening up the resonator with straight pipes will allow more sound to come through. Or run with no cats and no resonator for the biggest - and loudest - power gains.

The Supersprint 'Race' rear muffler system is one step beyond the standard Sport mufflers. Don't be fooled by the name - the 'Race' mufflers are designed for street use and the name only distinguishes it from the standard Sport system. With the stock system the sound is very subdued. With the 'Race' mufflers the sound is much more noticeable and more aggressive - a perfect sound to compliment the assertive nature of an M6. You will hear this exhaust but it will not be intrusive or sound out of place on a civilized sports/GT car like the M6. This front section is a direct replacement for the stock 235i/335/435/M2 exhaust with one key difference - the Supersprint uses full 80mm piping for improved flow out of the turbo. One of the best and easiest ways of getting more power from a stock turbo is by helping it push exhaust gas and larger and smoother exhaust piping will help with that. Where the stock system is bent and crimped, the Supersprint is a full 80mm along its entire length. This section 1 will fit to the stock or Supersprint turbo downpipe and a stock or Supersprint section 2 exhaust.

These connecting sleeves allow the Supersprint center pipes to connect to the factory section 2 pipes. The stock exhaust has a similar clamping pipe to this but this is specific to the piping diameter and length of the Supersprint center pipes.

This Euro center resonator replaces a stock European-spec center resonator or US/Euro catalytic converter section. The Supersprint exhaust piping is 60mm in diameter - 10mm larger in each pipe than a standard US exhaust system. This larger sizing helps to improve exhaust flow which frees up horsepower from the engine. Instead of working to push exhaust gas through small pipes the exhaust gas flows easier so the engine doesn't have to work as hard. Now constructed with 409 stainless steel piping!
The Supersprint Euro center resontor replaces a stock BMW Euro M3 center resonator OR requires the full Supersprint Euro headers and Euro rear muffler. For the best flow with supercharging or intricate intake kits, the Euro system works best!

Supersprint sport cats for the M5/M6 are designed to work with their performance headers and replace the stock secondary cats. The Supersprint sport cats are much freer-flowing than a factory-style cat. With less restriction, less effort is required to move the exhaust gasses which will free up horsepower and torque. This cat section will mount to the Supersprint merge collectors and then to a Supersprint or stock section 2. These are built with O2 sensor bungs pre-installed after the cat if you wanted to extend your stock post-cat O2 sensors (however, special software may still be needed).

Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

Supersprint tubular headers are one of the must-have performance items for the 850 engine. These equal length, stainless steel headers replace the stock manifolds for an instant power and sound upgrade. This header kit opens up the exhaust for a less restrictive flow.
