Supersprint sport cats for the E82 N54 are designed to work with their cat-less headers. The Supersprint sport cats are much freer-flowing than a traditional stock cat. With less restriction, less effort is required to move the exhaust gasses which will free up horsepower and torque. This cat section will mount to the Supersprint downpipes (p/n 980211) and to the Supersprint section 2. This section is built with O2 sensor bungs pre-installed after the cat if you wanted to extend your stock post-cat O2 sensors (however, special software may still be needed).

Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

These pipes fit after the headers and will eliminate the second set of cats in the stock exhaust. You can use these pipes with the stock exhaust headers/cats or with the Supersprint cat-delete downpipes. By deleting the secondary cats you remove a significant blockage in the exhaust flow - increasing horsepower and improving reliability for track or competition cars. You won't have to contend with catalytic material breaking down and clogging your exhaust while you're on the track. Supersprint's dyno testing with this pipe and the rest of their exhaust resulted in a 22hp gain! This Supersprint center section will delete the silencer/resonator in the stock exhaust and fit with the Supersprint sport rear muffler. The front of this section is clamped to the stock secondary cats. By eliminating the resonator, and matched to the rear muffler, more engine sound can be heard. This oversized front (section 1) pipe is a direct replacement for the stock exhaust section. It's been optimized for flow with 80mm tubing and mandrel bends. It does have compressed sections like on the stock piece. Although this is very similar to the factory exhaust pipe the larger size from the Supersprint provides better flow and less restriction (key for making power in turbocharged engines).

Jim Conforti tuned these chips on the dyno to boost mid range torque and increase horsepower in the upper RPM range. While not exactly producing V8-levels of torque you will definitely like the power increase across the rev band. This Supersprint section 2 replaces the second of two resonators in the 323/328 exhaust. By deleting resonators you can gain a little more volume from the exhaust. This is especially good if you're a fan of the stock exhaust sound and just want to hear more of it. Replacing one resonator makes a moderate difference but replacing both section 1 and 2 will be a dramatic increase in sound. And with less restriction there is a slight horsepower and torque gain as well!

This Supersprint cat-back race exhaust for the E70 X5 6-cylinder models will give a bit more pop and sexiness to the exhaust note. The sound is more noticeable on the gasoline N55 35iX model than on the Diesel. On the 35iX there is a ripping and growling exhaust note that will instantly get recognition without being obnoxious. It's a refined exotic European sound. On the Diesel 35dX model there is more turbo whistle and a bit more growl but is still relatively subdued (thanks to the large dampening effects of the DPF and SCR catalytic system). This race muffler is a direct replacement for the stock X5 35iX exhaust - cut the original muffler off at the factory cutoff point and install the new Supersprint system. Choose your exhaust tip option - 100 or 120mm dual round or quad 90mm round tips for an X5 M rear bumper conversion.

E9X M3 Supersprint Sport Catalytic Converters with Test Pipes are designed to replace the stock primary and secondary catalytic converters with high flow sport cats. With eliminating one set of cats and enlarging the piping the improved flow will increase performance and throttle response as well as increase sound and reduce weight. The straight-flow cat design allows much better flow than the stock cats, giving a significant horsepower and torque gain and a throaty sound. Removing the very restrictive primary cats results in a 25hp gain!

Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

Fitment Note: These sport cats were designed to be used only with the Supersprint section 2 x-pipe (p/n 980713) and Supersprint rear mufflers. Custom fabrication by an exhaust professional will be required to use these without the Supersprint exhaust sections. These cats include post-cat O2 sensor ports allowing for a complete installation by extending your original post-cat O2 sensors to the new location. Special Race software or module may still be required to keep the SES light and fault codes from appearing.

This Supersprint center section will delete the secondary silencer/resonator in the stock exhaust and fit with the Supersprint sport rear muffler. The front of this section is clamped to the stock front resonator. By eliminating one of the silencers, and matched to the rear muffler, more of the Z4's perky engine note will come through. And with less restriction more torque and horsepower can be released.
