This front section is a direct replacement for the stock 235i/335/435/M2 exhaust with one key difference - the Supersprint uses full 80mm piping for improved flow out of the turbo. One of the best and easiest ways of getting more power from a stock turbo is by helping it push exhaust gas and larger and smoother exhaust piping will help with that. Where the stock system is bent and crimped, the Supersprint is a full 80mm along its entire length. This section 1 will fit to the stock or Supersprint turbo downpipe and a stock or Supersprint section 2 exhaust.

Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

This Euro center resonator replaces a stock European-spec center resonator or US/Euro catalytic converter section. The Supersprint exhaust piping is 60mm in diameter - 10mm larger in each pipe than a standard US exhaust system. This larger sizing helps to improve exhaust flow which frees up horsepower from the engine. Instead of working to push exhaust gas through small pipes the exhaust gas flows easier so the engine doesn't have to work as hard. Now constructed with 409 stainless steel piping!
The Supersprint Euro center resontor replaces a stock BMW Euro M3 center resonator OR requires the full Supersprint Euro headers and Euro rear muffler. For the best flow with supercharging or intricate intake kits, the Euro system works best!

Headers should be part of any M20 performance project or restoration. These Supersprint tubular headers are a larger diameter and have better flow than the stock cast iron exhaust manifolds and they make more power. And since the stock headers are known to be brittle and can crack over time these make for an excellent upgrade replacement.
This header system mimics the stock exhaust after the header collectors. It uses the same 3-bolt flange as the original 323 center resonator. This makes them a direct swap from the stock manifolds and downpipes and an easy fitment for a 323 with the stock exhaust. Supersprint also makes a center resonator section and rear mufflers to build a complete system.

Supersprint sport cats for the E82 N54 are designed to work with their cat-less headers. The Supersprint sport cats are much freer-flowing than a traditional stock cat. With less restriction, less effort is required to move the exhaust gasses which will free up horsepower and torque. This cat section will mount to the Supersprint downpipes (p/n 980211) and to the Supersprint section 2. This section is built with O2 sensor bungs pre-installed after the cat if you wanted to extend your stock post-cat O2 sensors (however, special software may still be needed).

Supersprint "F1 Race" mufflers are the best route for letting the S62 rip! These small and lightweight mufflers are among the loudest and most aggressive exhausts on the market with a finely-tuned exhaust note that accentuates the M5's V8 nicely, especially on downshifts. Other cars will take note when this exhaust is around. Combine these with the Supersprint X-Pipe for even more volume. These mufflers slip on in place of the stock mufflers for a more aggressive sound and sportier appearance. The F1 Race mufflers also use 90mm tips (20mm larger than the standard Race mufflers).

Changing the exhaust note can be one of the most pleasing upgrades you can make. The stock mufflers do exactly what BMW intended them to - muffle and dampen the exhaust to meet 'luxury' levels. Here the factory tubes are crushed in size and joined in narrow housing ahead of the catalytic converters. Supersprint has designed a fully tubular header and collector system that is fully mandrel bent and makes no compromises. They even patented the design. With a complete exhaust system, we recorded gains of over 60hp! These headers can be connected to either a factory secondary cat or a Supersprint high-flow metallic cat.

One of the complaints about turbocharged engines is that they are too quiet. Even on a high-performance model like the M-tuned 235i there is only so much the factory will do to make a sport exhaust. If you're looking for a little more pop and snarl from your exhaust, the Supersprint straight pipe and performance muffler will be a good choice. These tuned resonators replace the factory resonator in section 2 of the exhaust. Supersprint also offers this section without any resonator at all. But if noise and volume is a strong consideration for you then using resonators is a good idea. If you were building a track car with headers and no cats then resonators will help keep noise levels low. This section is 309 stainless steel and 70mm diameter pipes (a little bigger than the factory size) so this piece will flow better and be a little louder than the factory resonator.
