Apex ARC8 18x9.5" Square Wheel Set
If you're tracking your BMW you should absolutely have stickier rubber on wider wheels. Most BMWs have a staggered wheel set with a narrow front wheel that results in understeer. Adding a wider wheel will get you more rubber where it counts - reducing understeer and improving initial turn-in. Square wheel sets of the same size and offset also allow you to rotate tires around to get the most life out of pricey track tires. We have put this wheel set together using four APEX 9.5" wheels in a ET22 offset. A 9.5" wheel allows for 265-285 performance or R-comp tires.
APEX light alloy wheels are the next evolution in flow-forged wheel technology for BMWs. Flow-forming is a semi-forging process that produces a wheel typically stronger than a traditional cast wheel yet is still light weight. The wheels are around 10lbs lighter per wheel than a comparable factory wheel! That's reduced unsprung weight that improves all aspects of performance. The spokes and barrel have been designed to allow generous clearance for big brakes. In other words, these wheels are very impressively engineered and look great too! The design is based on classic motorsport themes that blend with BMW styling and appearance. These wheels look right at home on many BMW models. APEX ARC-8 19" Staggered Wheel Set -- 19x8.5" / 19x9.5"
This set of 8.5" and 9.5" ARC-8 wheels is an easy staggered fitment for the E46 M3 and Z4M models. These are a direct fit with no spacers or fender rolling required. We use an 8.5" ET35 on the front and a 9.5" ET22 on the rear. These are only slightly wider than the stock sizes. The rear wheels have a deeper concave face than the fronts, emphasizing the RWD chassis and adding some muscularity to the stance.

H&R's 3mm wheel spacers are Made in Germany and are TUV approved. H&R manufacturers their spacers from a super lightweight aluminum/magnesium alloy for excellent strength and also to save unsprung weight. The spacers are drilled for additional lightness and easy fitment. They are then hard anodized for durability. These are not low quality universal spacers - the bolt pattern, hub sizing, and other dimensions are designed to be used on BMW models only. This spacer has a larger mounting surface specifically designed for the larger mounting pad of F30 wheels.
This spacer slips on the existing hub lip and leaves some lip left over for the wheel to rest on. This keeps the wheel hubcentric*.
* - To avoid vibration, 3mm spacers work best with wheels that have a flush mounting surface. Wheels that have a bevel around the mounting surface will not be fully seated on the hub and a vibration may result.
Longer wheel bolts are strongly recommended. Choose from black or silver bolts from the options below. Wheel locks to work with this spacer size are also available.
