Supersprint makes one of the nicest, highest quality performance exhausts for the E36 M3 that we have seen. This Supersprint section 2 replaces the second of two resonators in the 323/328 exhaust. By deleting resonators you can gain a little more volume from the exhaust. This is especially good if you're a fan of the stock exhaust sound and just want to hear more of it. Replacing one resonator makes a moderate difference but replacing both section 1 and 2 will be a dramatic increase in sound. And with less restriction there is a slight horsepower and torque gain as well!

Jim Conforti tuned these chips on the dyno to boost mid range torque and increase horsepower in the upper RPM range. While not exactly producing V8-levels of torque you will definitely like the power increase across the rev band. The factory 35i exhaust system is pretty wide open with a minimal of restrictions - except for the catalytic converter. Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Supersprint catalytic converters are sold for track and other off-road uses only.

Supersprint revised their rear muffler designs to offer this 'Generation 2' version - smaller body and freer flow than the standard Supersprint muffler but quieter and more civilized than the full Lightweight Racing mufflers. It's still lighter than the stock original or standard Supersprint mufflers. The sound is a more refined version of the full racing mufflers with less drone and quieter overall but still with plenty of ripping S54 aural tone.

The Supersprint X-Pipe will delete the set of resonators ahead of the rear mufflers. By removing the resonators, you can get more volume and growl from your exhaust as well as decrease exhaust restriction for slightly better power and torque. Deleting resonators makes a small but noticeable increase in overall volume so it's recommended that this is done after changing or removing mufflers. This x-pipe fits in section 2 of the exhaust - after the factory secondary cat section and before the rear mufflers. You will need to cut the original resonator section out of the exhaust and the Supersprint is clamped into place.

These equal length, stainless steel headers replace the stock manifolds for an instant power and sound upgrade. This header kit opens up the exhaust for a less restrictive flow. This twin pipe system utilizes two high flow pipes instead of a single large pipe, allowing for up to 25% greater total exhaust flow. Thanks to the increased total flow, these center pipes are capable of supporting S54 engines producing over 400whp, perfect for all highly modified street cars or performance track vehicles.

Here the factory tubes are crushed in size and joined in narrow housing ahead of the catalytic converters. Supersprint has designed a fully tubular header and collector system that is fully mandrel bent and makes no compromises. They even patented the design. With a complete exhaust system, we recorded gains of over 60hp! These headers can be connected to either a factory secondary cat or a Supersprint high-flow metallic cat.
What sets these headers apart from others is the expertise and craftsmanship from Supersprint in Italy. These are 100% stainless steel headers with true mandrel bends. It's a carefully engineered header and merge collector design with superior craftsmanship to other systems (sometimes knockoffs to the original Supersprint).
