Changing the exhaust note can be one of the most pleasing upgrades you can make. The stock mufflers do exactly what BMW intended them to - muffle and dampen the exhaust to meet 'luxury' levels. But if you want to hear more of that great BMW engine changing out the rear mufflers with this Supersprint sport exhaust will come through. Supersprint uses a free-flow design that makes the exhaust louder and sportier while also increasing power and torque. The sound is a muscular but refined rumble especially on the V8 models. The Supersprint 'Race' rear muffler system is one step beyond the standard Sport mufflers. Don't be fooled by the name - the 'Race' mufflers are designed for street use and the name only distinguishes it from the standard Sport system. With the stock system the sound is very subdued. With the 'Race' mufflers the sound is much more noticeable and more aggressive - a perfect sound to compliment the assertive nature of an M6. You will hear this exhaust but it will not be intrusive or sound out of place on a civilized sports/GT car like the M6. The Supersprint center pipes to delete the rear resonators are a welcome addition.

Supersprint "F1 Race" mufflers are the best route for letting the S62 rip! These small and lightweight mufflers are among the loudest and most aggressive exhausts on the market with a finely-tuned exhaust note that accentuates the M5's V8 nicely, especially on downshifts. Other cars will take note when this exhaust is around. Combine these with the Supersprint X-Pipe for even more volume. These mufflers slip on in place of the stock mufflers for a more aggressive sound and sportier appearance. The F1 Race mufflers also use 90mm tips (20mm larger than the standard Race mufflers).
