This left/driver's front upper control arm - also know as a tension strut or thrust arm. This is the control arm with the outer ball joint pointing down. This is the OE BMW replacement (made by TRW) and fits E82 1M Coupe and E90/E92/E93 M3. This control arm includes the inner pressed in bushing and outer ball joint. A direct replacement from the original manufacturer.

This part can also be used as an upgrade on non-M E82, E9X, and E89 Z4 models. The inner bushing on the M3 arm is a solid rubber instead of the fluid-filled non-M design. This solid rubber part will last longer and be more responsive thanks to less deflection in the bushing. The M3 arm is a direct replacement for the stock non-M part.

These front adjustable camber/caster plates will replace your stock front upper strut bearing. The KMAC plates are a 'floating' design so camber and caster are adjusted together. This design allows maximum range of adjustment since no other hardware interferes with the adjustments. Since these replace your stock strut bearings they are designed to work with a stock-type spring only. And when installed correctly will not significantly alter ride height. Adjustment is easily done by loosening the three nuts on top of the tower and sliding the camber plate into the position you want, then re-tighten the nuts. These mounts can be installed two ways - for camber correction or swapped side-side for increasing negative camber. Detailed instructions included.

These M3 rear guide rod arms are an upgrade for the non-M cars. The stock non-M arms are made from sheetmetal spot welded together at the ends. The arm tends to flex and bend under even moderate cornering loads. Factor in gripper tires and more torque and this arm is inadequate for stability and consistent handling. Rear adjustable camber and toe bushings for the E82/E9X non-M 3-series. These bushings allow you to adjust camber and toe beyond factory specs to either restore camber or add more. If you lowered your car and have too much camber these bushings can get you back to stock specs. On the flip side if you need more camber for the track or autocross, you can fine tune it with these too. These bushings press in and replace the existing rubber bushings. This upper front control arm (BMW may call it a thrust arm or tension strut) comes with the inner bushings and is a direct replacement for the original part, made by Tier 1 supplier TRW.

Control arms, and their integrated ball joints, are some of the most crucial components on a BMW suspension. The control arms literally control the wheel and suspension as they go through their range of motions. A faulty or worn control arm or ball joint is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening problem so make sure they are inspected and replaced at regular intervals. For a street-driven car we advise yearly inspection and a full replacement every 3-4 years. For track-driven cars these should be inspected before every event and replaced every two years.

This arm includes the inner rubber bushing but the outer ball joint is sold separately.

KMAC camber kits are the most complete kits on the market, with all of the common spring perch options and strut hardware included. The OEM size spring perch as well as 60mm and 2.5" spring isolators are included which makes it easy to upgrade from stock struts to coil overs without having to buy new camber plates. Or swap springs on your coil overs between 60mm and 2.5" without buying additional upper perches. Also included are the most common strut pin hardware - 14mm lower bearing adapters and 12x1.5, 12x1.75, and 14x1.5 top nuts. This takes the guesswork out of ordering the correct hardware for your strut type. The urethane main bushing is also replaceable and the camber plate parts are made from 7075-grade aluminum for a lifetime of camber plate use.
