Withstanding up to 42psi of boost, these pistons feature a fine structural grain achieved through a two or three step forging process and precise CNC machining. Heat treatments ensure high tensile strength and hardness, while contact reduction grooves and honed pin bores provide a precise fit. Wrist pins made of cold extruded chrome moly steel offer exceptional strength. Plus, a 'phosphate dry lubricant' coating protects rings from 'micro-welding' and enhances lubrication on the skirt/cylinder area. Compression ratios are computed with .030" head gasket and .010" deck, offering optimal performance for your Mini.
