When your CPV O-ring fails it causes a slow oil leak on the passenger side of the engine, making an oily mess that frequently resembles a rear main seal leak. Replacing the CPV with an upgraded o-ring ensures a long-term solution to this common problem. 

The factory o-ring over time fails from heat cycling and oil exposure due to the Buna rubber used in OEM o-rings, while the included Viton Fluoroelastomer is resistant to a much higher temperature to ensure prolonged life without leaking. 

Every 60-80,000 miles, we recommend replacing your spark plugs to ensure your ignition system is running optimally. Over time carbon can build up around the head of the spark plug and decrease spark strength and effectiveness, leading to weaker fuel mixture detonation, misfires, and potential check engine lights. The factory S54 exhaust hub is a ticking time bomb. Excessive play between the drive tabs and the oil pump disk creates a rhythmic rattling that eventually shears the tabs off, risking catastrophic engine failure.

While other kits require deep-engine surgery, our Turner Motorsport Hub Upgrade offers a "work smarter" approach.

ECS Tuning VANOS Seal Kit

The original BMW seals are made of Buna-N rubber, which quickly hardens and loses its sealing properties when exposed to synthetic oil and high heat. Our ECS engineering team has corrected this flaw.

Viton™ Upgrade: We utilize high-performance Viton O-rings for the internal seals, seal plate, and solenoid.

These are a direct replacement for the stock camshafts and offer increased flow at mid and higher RPMs, thanks to 12.5mm of valve lift. Unlike 288/280 camshafts, this 280/272 set does not require upgraded valvetrain parts. The profile of these camshafts is quite close to stock CSL specs.
