Performance software is a must-have upgrade on your BMW and you won't find an easier and better software solution than the Shark Injector. Developed by BMW tuning expert Jim Conforti, this device plugs into the car's diagnostic port and flashes new performance files into your car's engine computer (ECU). This particular file includes Stage 1 engine tuning (fuel, ignition, timing upgrades) with EWS-delete programming. There's no removal of the ECU and shipping, no cables, no laptop required - only a battery charger! Installation takes just a few minutes and your engine will perform like never before!
The M52/S52 performance software was developed on the dyno to create maximum power and torque using premium 91+ octane fuel while maintaining BMW reliability and smoothness. The software makes changes to the ECU's maps and algorithms for fuel injection, ignition timing, VANOS and camshaft movement, and transitional fueling. We modify the maps for part throttle and full throttle so you get better response and more torque at all RPM. We also raise the rev limit to 7,000 and remove the top speed limiter. By fine tuning these maps we've been able to improve the S52 engine beyond what BMW did by making more power and torque and a smoother-running engine.
The programming for EWS delete will allow you to use a spare ECU to run the engine. If your original ECU fails, and you find yourself buying a used ECU, you won't have to tow the car to the dealer to have the ECU synced to the car's EWS system. This is also the perfect software solution if you installed an S52 engine in your E36 323/328 - just plug in the M3 ECU and flash with this Shark Injector. This Stage 1 file will bypass the EWS code and give you all of the benefits of our Stage 1 tune.
The Shark Injector plugs into the diagnostic port under the hood of the E36. With the battery charger supplying power, press the Upgrade button and within minutes the ECU is reflashed with the new performance tune. No other software product on the market comes close to how easy it is to install. You can use the Restore button to re-install the stock BMW software at any time. Detailed instructions are included. Other tuners require you to remove the ECU and ship it to them or use a laptop to read and write a new file. The Shark Injector is ready to install right out of the box! A planned future upgrade will allow you to use the USB port to load different performance files.

A capable battery charger is required for the installation. The charger provides backup power supply to the regular car battery during installation. It must be capable of holding a continuous 10amp charge for the full installation (15-20 minutes).
The minimum octane fuel for this software is 91.

Unsure of what size spacer will work best for you? This professional kit includes 1mm, 2.5mm, 5mm, 10mm, and 15mm spacers with wheel studs and nuts for you play with. These are not the same spacers that we sell and they cannot be used to drive on. But with the studs installed the car can be lowered to the ground and rolled to check for clearances. These test fit spacers are drilled to fit the standard BMW 5x120 bolt pattern as well as 4-lug 4x100 (and VW/Audi bolt patterns too). You can stack spacers to achieve the perfect clearance. When you're ready call us to order the spacers you need (Turner spacers come in 3mm, 5mm, 7.5mm, 10mm, 12.5mm, 15mm, 17.5mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm spacer thicknesses).
These spacers are not for driving on. They lack the hubcentric lip that BMW wheels are designed to work with. Driving on studs alone will lead to a failure.
