New for your 6-cylinder Z3 is our Dual Shear Selector Rod (DSSR) to deliver a more controlled and tighter shifting experience over the factory selector rod. Pair our Z3 DSSR with our upgraded poly rear shifter bushing for the full upgraded shifting experience. This DSSR is designed for Z3 models that have the selector rod p# 25111222780.

Upgrade from your single connection selector rod to a dual shear selector rod or DSSR for a stronger connection and an overall better shifting experience. The factory BMW selector rod is made of hollow aluminum tubing and attaches to both the shifter and transmission from one side utilizing a pin-and-clip design. The factory single-side attachment only has a small amount of surface area contacting both the shifter and transmission selector which relies directly on the connecting pin to do all of the shifting and control, this can cause a loose and/or lackluster experience when shifting gears or shaking your shifter in neutral. Your new Turner DSSR features a much larger contacting surface to both the shifter and transmission, not only does the upgraded DSSR have larger faces contacting your shift components but it also features double the amount of mounting surfaces. This dual shear selector rod hugs your shift lever and selector tight from both sides and eliminates deflection and sloppiness for the best shifting experience possible.

These aluminum pedals were designed with one thing in mind -- performance. We wanted a pedal set that gave us the grip EXACTLY where we wanted it: MASSIVE GRIP on the brake and clutch pedals, and far less grip on the accelerator to allow the right foot to better slide/move during heal-toe braking. These pedal covers feature pyramid shaped spikes on the brake pedal, which actually BITE the soles of your shoes PERFECTLY, creating the ultimate (and unbeatable) friction surface where you want it. The throttle pedal is left smooth, so that your foot can roll on and off the gas smoothly. The automatic transmission set includes 2 pieces -- one brake pedal and one throttle/gas pedal.

Over time, the factory valve cover hardware on M50, M50TU, M52, M52TU, M54, S50 (US), and S52 engines is subjected to continuous heat cycling, oil vapor, and moisture, causing original cap nuts to oxidize, corrode, or thread-strip during routine maintenance. Our Polished Valve Cover Cap Nut serves as a direct replacement designed to address these common failure points while improving upon overall engine bay aesthetics.

Because maintaining precise gasket compression is critical to preventing oil leaks, these cap nuts and washers are machined directly to OE-style dimensions. This exact fitment allows for direct compatibility with original and replacement valve cover studs (see T#55317643) and ensures the hardware can be torqued precisely to OEM specifications without guesswork. Manufactured to grade 8.8 structural strength standards, the hardware maintains the necessary clamp force required under normal and high-performance engine operating conditions.

To resist corrosion, both the cap nut and washer undergo an electroless nickel plating process during production. Unlike standard zinc coatings that dull or rust over time, electroless nickel provides a uniform layer of corrosion resistance that withstands long-term chemical exposure and extreme temperature swings while giving the hardware a polished, high-end appearance. Each cap nut assembly includes an OE rubber washer seal, ensuring a tight, leak-free barrier that prevents oil from escaping through the mounting studs.
