The factory cooling system on these cars is riddled with brittle plastic and aging rubber that will fail, it’s not a matter of if, but when.

The Hoses: The factory upper return and overflow hoses are notoriously failure prone. Heat cycles make the plastic quick disconnect fittings brittle, and every time you disconnect them for routine service, you compromise their integrity. Combine that with aging rubber that splits under pressure, and you're looking at a sudden loss of coolant. We include fresh OEM Rein hoses to ensure your primary coolant lines remain sealed tight for another 100k miles.

The Infamous "Mickey Mouse" Flange Upgrade: The plastic flange connecting the thermostat assembly to the cylinder head is hands-down one of the worst design flaws on modern BMWs. Over time, heat degrades the plastic until it literally crumbles inside the head, leaving you with an instant, massive coolant dump. We bin the fragile factory plastic component and replace it with a high durability, CNC machined billet aluminum connector. Once this is installed, you eliminate the single biggest cooling weakness on the engine for good.
