Brake pads are a common wear item, and regardless of driving habits, will have to be replaced eventually. When your pads wear down, or even become noisy, replace them to keep your vehicle's stopping ability at full potential, to ensure safe driving. These TRW Ultra brake pads feature a copper-free compound and CITEC break-in coating. TRW is one of the largest global brake pad manufacturers in the independent aftermarket and follows the pillars of ZF Aftermarket’s standards of safety, engineering excellence, innovation, partnership, and perfectly tailored product lines. With the new copper-free formulation, the TRW Friction lines has outperformed itself in categories of comfort and lifespan. Reduced noise and dust have brought TRW ahead of competitors, putting the product lines ahead of the California copper-free legislation deadline of 2025, and reaching above the standard of OE. TRW Ultra features CITEC coating to provide additional stopping performance during the break-in period, and shims that are designed per the OE configuration. A siliramic lubrication packet is included in the box to further aid in installation.

Ceramic material provides better braking performance, minimized noise, and a noticeable reduction in brake dust. OE equivalent friction formulations are specifically engineered to enhance braking power, minimize braking distances and provide quiet, safe braking in all road conditions. NAO Pads take this a step further to increase comfort and pad life. Brembo pads are thermal scorched to minimize break in period and reduce fading. Direct molding pressing guarantees maximum product accuracy Underlayer provides noise dampening and reduces heat transfer to the caliper. A reduction is vibration while braking is also achieved with NAO pads. Brembo multi-layer ESE shim ( Elastomer-Steel-Elastomer ) minimizes vibrations and noise. Brembo pads and shoes are homologated in compliance with ECE-R90 legislation and are marked accordingly for easy identification. We highly recommend you replace the brake sensor wire with the pads to ensure proper operation of your brake pad thickness warning light system.
