TURNER MOTORSPORT DOUBLE ADJUSTABLE SHORT SHIFT KIT

BMWs have historically been plagued by very long throw shifters from the factory - luckily, we've developed the solution. Our short shifter system is height- and throw-adjustable, offering up to a 52% reduction in throw over stock. Double adjustability enables you to find the sweet spot that will make you excited to drive your car again. Installation of this kit is also of the easiest to tackle. Compared to the competition, a custom bearing cup allows for easy installation from inside the car (on applications that use the stock shifter arm).

Like all OEM selector rods, the factory part uses single-shear attachment, allowing for deflection within the shifter linkage. The result? Vague, imprecise gear selections that detract from your overall driving experience. The dual-shear selector rod (DSSR) design spreads the torsional force of gear selections across the selector rod joint, reducing deflection for increased precision. Our DSSR is precision-machined from durable 304 stainless steel to further reduce deflection and resist corrosion.

Precision-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and clear anodized, this replacement carrier is durable, lightweight, and built to last. It is dimensionally identical to the OEM carrier, ensuring compatibility with the OEM shift carrier bushing, shift lever, and Turner Motorsport Double-Adjustable Short Throw Shifter Kit.

This shifter bushing is designed to remove the shifter play caused by an old, failed rubber shifter bushing. Manufacturing the bushing from polyurethane instead of rubber reduces the amount of stretch caused by the moving part through the bushing. This maintains the direct crisp feel from your shifter assembly. When your OE shifter arm bushing begins to fail, you will notice slop in shifting, potentially making it easier to miss gears, and it often causes an obvious vibration and movement from the engine RPMs.

The fan and clutch that connect to the water pump add additional rotating mass to the drive line. By removing them and converting your system to an electric fan, the engine has to do less work, giving you that extra little bit of power. This premium kit centers around the renowned EMP Stewart high-performance water pump--a favorite among BMW enthusiasts for its exceptional design. Featuring a stainless steel impeller, this pump enhances coolant flow by 20%. Complementing this is a low-temperature 68°C (154.4°F) Mishimoto thermostat, an upgraded aluminum thermostat housing, and Redline Water Wetter coolant additive. Together, these components make for the ultimate cooling system upgrade for your E36, E39, or Z3!

E46 M3 CSL brakes fit the E36 M3 for a bolt-on size enhancement and more stopping power. The CSL rotors are a full 30mm (1.18") larger than the stock E36 M3 discs. The larger rotor puts out more braking torque and can handle more friction and heat than stock. With the special brackets these larger rotors are able to bolt-on to the E36 M3 hub using your original calipers and lines. Simply bolt them on using the new caliper bracket. The E36 M3 CSL upgrade is a moderate upgrade over stock compared to a StopTech or Brembo Big Brake Kit but has lower upfront cost, lower consumable cost (pads and rotors), and has a wide range of pad choices (any brake pad for an E36 M3 or E46 M3 will work).

We offer these brakes with three rotor choices -

• Stoptech (Centric) CSL/ZCP Cross-Drilled and Floating
• Original M3 CSL/ZCP Cross-Drilled and Floating
• ECS 2-piece Cross Drilled and Slotted Floating (pictured)

With more braking torque, the brake bias is changed. For the street, you will notice more stopping power and more "bite" from the front brakes. You may not notice the front brakes are working harder. If you're using this kit on the track it will be more important to balance the brake bias using different front-rear pad compounds. The front brakes will be doing more work than before to slow the car down and you will need to balance that with a more aggressive pad on the rear. You may notice the front tires locking up sooner, especially in wet conditions. Contact us to discuss track pads for your situation.

Wheel fitment: 18" wheels are strongly recommended for brake clearance although some 17" wheels will work (if they clear a BBK they will work with these)

Drive line slop is often caused by faulty engine and transmission mounts. This can result in knocking noises under heavy acceleration, excessive vibration, and a less responsive feel in power. These OEM Lemforder mounts are perfect to eliminate these problems and provide long lasting reliability.

Often an oversight in maintenance, ignition components are also susceptible to wear and tear.
