This oil pan baffle by AAF keeps the oil at the pick up better than others on the market. Baffling the oil pan is extremely important. Under racing and track conditions, oil can move in the oil pan enough to cause extended moments of oil starvation. This can cause premature, and in some cases immediate, engine failure. The pan features a tight fit to keep oil from exiting under braking or cornering. A must have for all track cars. **Note: Requires Welding to install.

Prevent costly failure with this IWIS Engine Oil Pump Chain Kit! This kit contains all of the basic items needed to service your oil pump drive system and prevent failure long before it occurs. Chains can stretch and chain guides and tensioners can wear out, leading to the chain skipping teeth. This prevents the oil pump from being driven at the proper speeds. If not addressed, the chain could begin to "slip" over the gears, failing to drive the oil pump. When this occurs, oil pressure will drop suddenly, failing to properly lubricate sensitive internal engine components such as main bearings, rod bearings, and camshaft ledges and lobes, resulting in severe scoring and eventual engine failure.

It's no secret that BMW turbo motors can suffer from oil control problems causing oil to blow through and coat the intercooler and charge piping, gunking up intake valves and the VANOS system, lowering the effective octane, and generally degrading engine performance. The higher your boost levels the more apparent these problems become. The solution to this problem has finally arrived. The BMS oil catch can. While there are other catch cans on the market they all fall short in various areas. Some are mounted on the hot/turbo side of the motor preventing proper vapor condensation. Others utilize hoses that are too small and runs that are too long to allow proper PCV ventilation causing internal motor/ring sealing issues. Some have insufficient or no internal baffle system while others have internal baffles systems that are too restrictive. Some even bypass the PCV system all together venting crankcase gas and odor to the atmosphere. Most are simply repackaged oil catch cans from smaller / lower power motors shoehorned into place in the turbo BMW engine bay. To solve these problems BMS designed their oil catch can kit from the ground up specifically for the turbo BMW application. It features 100% CNC machining with zero welding for a precision fit and long life. The can itself is guaranteed for the life of the vehicle. The hoses exceed the OEM PCV piping in diameter and that flow rate is maintained throughout the entire oil catch can ensuring no excessive crankcase pressure buildup. The BMS OCC retains the factory fully closed loop PCV operation preventing any PCV vapor from leaking to the atmosphere. The mounting locations are selected to minimize the line length, allow more efficient operation, and retain a stealth look. Install takes around 20 minutes, includes all required hardware, and is 100% reversible. Simply unscrew the base of the can or use the drain plug to safely dispose of captured oil with the rest of your used motor oil during oil changes. Made in USA. We only offer parts we know you can trust to perform! One of the more common spots for oil leaks is from the oil filter housing where it meets the block. The filter housing meets the block and a profile gasket is supposed to keep the dirty oil from entering the engine and to retain the oil as it makes it way out and back into the block. Unfortunately, the dirty oil and contaminants can build up along the edge of the gasket and push it out of place. Heat around the various surfaces can also warp or shrink the gasket. In any event this spot is well-known for oil seepage and leaks. Replacement can be done on its own but is best tackled along with a new valve cover gasket (another common leak source). This replacement gasket and fits all N51, N52, N54, and N55 engines.
