The most common N55 intake utilizes a short plastic tube and oversized cone filter; it is your job to have better taste than the common N55 owner. This carbon intake changes the whole image of the N55 engine while maintaining a flow of cool air and added induction noise. With a dual inlet design the engine bay retains its functionality while adding a second inlet to provide your engine with improved air flow and sound. To ensure the engine gets the coolest air possible the second inlet is located in the "sweet spot" on the cold side of the engine for the lowest intake air temps and most air flow possible. The cone filter features a bellmouth velocity stack filter that creates the satisfying flutter after letting of the throttle.

Our Turner Carbon Fiber Intakes start with a 3D scan of the factory intake and engine bay. Engineers use the 3D imaging of the chassis to design the intake in SolidWorks modeling software. Using a Flow Bench, the Intake is then airflow tested against the factory intake, to ensure optimal airflow improvement against stock. The final product is a beautiful and functional Carbon Fiber Intake, CAD designed for perfect integration with the OEM inlet ducting and stock mounting locations and proven to flow better than factory.

4-ply reinforced silicone coupler and 6061-T6 black anodized aluminum flange that utilizes the factory o-ring and retaining clip.

Carbon fiber airboxes are manufactured using 2X2 twill weave carbon fiber and protected with a gloss finish clear coat for UV resistance to match the intake tube.
Air box mounts in stock location with supplied hardware.
- Air Filter

Conical hi-flow reusable air filter; featuring 8 ply oiled cotton gauze construction to maximize filtration efficiency.
Bellmouth (velocity stack) filter flange inlet to reduce turbulence in order to maximize flow.

Nothing but the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer and rigorous long term product testing. Performance data metrics are collected utilizing Mustang AWD 500 SE in ground dyno and in-house Superflow SF-750 Flowbench.

This Stage 2 Sealed Intake produces up to 12hp and 16lbs. x ft. torque and outflows the factory intake by 56%. Fully enclosed in a molded plastic housing. this air intake system features a reusable air filter that improves airflow for increased horsepower and torque. The housing features auxiliary inlet duct for better airflow as well as a black vacuum formed plastic cover that provides ready access to the filter for servicing. This intake system also features a insulated molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance.

Large 5-Layer Performance Air Filter:
This sealed intake system utilizes a pre-oiled, large 5" tall conical 360 degree radial flow performance air filter with 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance.
