The intake boot is a regular issue especially for BMW's, nearly all vehicles have a boot manufactured from rubber with an accordion section in the design for flexibility. This flexible section is typically where the failure comes from, leading to vacuum leak engine codes, rough idle, and increase fuel consumption.

This version has an oil-free filter media for less maintenance. For the best flowing filter, with the best performance gain, we always recommend the standard aFe "Pro5R " filter (which has a blue pre-oiled filter media), but this oil-free filter flows only slightly less than the blue Pro5R style aFe filter, and requires no re-oiling after cleaning the filter.

Unique One-Piece High-Quality Housing:
A custom CAD designed roto-molded housing made of black, cross-linked, heat resistant polyethylene material eliminates the use of multiple components and ensures the coolest air intake charge available. The VTT PCV Flapper delete is used to get rid of the factory flapper, and add a -10 fitting on N54 powered vehicles. This will allow you to run a single or dual external catch can, or your own custom set up.

This is a 1/2" (fits -8AN hos perfectly as well) CNC Billet check valve that can be used for a variety of uses including a vacuum/boost check valve when removing the stock PCV system, and still wanting to run the vacuum to the crankcase. Rated at over 100 psi, with a cracking psi of .25psi.
