Due to weak plastic construction, the factory plastic crankcase ventilation breather hose is known to fail. After years of exposure to piping-hot engine bay temperatures and chemical-laden oil vapors, the corrugated plastic tubing can crack, crumble, or fail altogether.
We set out to bulletproof your N20 PCV system with a durable silicone breather hose, designed to provide a comprehensive upgrade and permanent replacement for the factory plastic hose. By replacing the flimsy, heat-hardened OEM plastic hose with a four-ply fluorosilicone hose, you'll experience peace of mind knowing your N20 is free from the inevitable return of oil leaks, vacuum leaks, and drivability concerns that would have been.

The most common N55 intake utilizes a short plastic tube and oversized cone filter; it is your job to have better taste than the common N55 owner. This carbon intake changes the whole image of the N55 engine while maintaining a flow of cool air and added induction noise. With a dual inlet design the engine bay retains its functionality while adding a second inlet to provide your engine with improved air flow and sound. To ensure the engine gets the coolest air possible the second inlet is located in the "sweet spot" on the cold side of the engine for the lowest intake air temps and most air flow possible. Anyone with a modified N55/S55 knows the risks involved with the OEM Crank Hub. When the engine simply can't handle the stresses its put under or the design is such that it simply does not support extreme conditions, issues can arise. Under certain conditions, the N55/S55 crank hub likes to spin, without warning and even when the engine is in perfect health. MMR has produced a EN36 machined billet one-piece crank hub heat treated with a 0.75mm case hardening which makes it extremely durable. Due to the one-piece design, it ensures that the friction plates cannot slip. This offers a huge jump in reliability when paired with a new properly torques crank bolt. It's no secret that BMW turbo motors can suffer from oil control problems causing oil to blow through and coat the intercooler and charge piping, gunking up intake valves and the VANOS system, lowering the effective octane, and generally degrading engine performance. The higher your boost levels the more apparent these problems become. The solution to this problem has finally arrived. The BMS oil catch can. While there are other catch cans on the market they all fall short in various areas. Some are mounted on the hot/turbo side of the motor preventing proper vapor condensation. Others utilize hoses that are too small and runs that are too long to allow proper PCV ventilation causing internal motor/ring sealing issues. Some have insufficient or no internal baffle system while others have internal baffles systems that are too restrictive. Some even bypass the PCV system all together venting crankcase gas and odor to the atmosphere. Most are simply repackaged oil catch cans from smaller / lower power motors shoehorned into place in the turbo BMW engine bay. To solve these problems BMS designed their oil catch can kit from the ground up specifically for the turbo BMW application. It features 100% CNC machining with zero welding for a precision fit and long life. The can itself is guaranteed for the life of the vehicle. The hoses exceed the OEM PCV piping in diameter and that flow rate is maintained throughout the entire oil catch can ensuring no excessive crankcase pressure buildup. The BMS OCC retains the factory fully closed loop PCV operation preventing any PCV vapor from leaking to the atmosphere. The mounting locations are selected to minimize the line length, allow more efficient operation, and retain a stealth look. Install takes around 20 minutes, includes all required hardware, and is 100% reversible. Simply unscrew the base of the can or use the drain plug to safely dispose of captured oil with the rest of your used motor oil during oil changes. Made in USA.
