BMW Tools & Specialty Equipment for BMW 3 Series E93 (2007-2013)

This tool comes in handy especially when working with an engine harness. Certain areas are always prone to corrosion and this tool makes having to re-pin a connector a breeze.

Unlike small screwdrivers, picks, and paper clips, these tools are the correct size and shape to remove and install tiny electrical pins and terminals at plastic block connectors with ease, and will not damage the connectors in the process.

Packaged in a blow molded case to keep everything secure and organized.

When doing work where the mounts and support need to be removed from the engine or transmission having a engine support bar is wise. By using this engine support the stress is coming off of whatever components are still attached reducing future unnecessary repairs. The safety side of it is having the heavy engine and transmission firmly supported as it should be instead of questionable jack techniques.

Features:

•  2" longer than most
• Deluxe transverse support for even more stability
•  Two angle chain hooks for safer and more stable chain support
•  61" long and fully adjustable to any width
•  Weight rating is a full 1000 lbs.
•  Includes four rubber padded feet to prevent slipping and damage to cars finish
• This tool features a dual hook design for holding engine or transmission in place
•  Powder coated for long life and durability

Note: It is important that chains are hooked to both sides of hook, like in photo to insure load is supported evenly.

When it comes to the torque found on axle nuts you're already looking at using a breaker bar or impact gun not to mention the corrosion collected over the years. The safest approach is using impact socket, since they are built with the strength needed to avoid breaking under pressure.

Features:

• Heavy duty ½ inch-drive sockets and drivers have extra thick alloy steel walls, and take a beating that would destroy normal sockets
•  Durable black oxide coating wipes clean easily and resists rust
• Contains three 12-point sockets for a sure grip on the most common sized axle nuts, plus three hex drives for removing common hex-head plugs and fasteners
• Conveniently packaged in a blow molded case, this set will please the most demanding professional technician or discriminating prosumer

Kit includes:

• 30mm, 32mm, and 36mm - 12-point axle nut sockets - ½" drive

• 14mm, 17mm, and 19mm hex head drive axle shoulder bolt sockets - ½" drive

BMW essentials from drivetrain work to fluid changes.

Features:

• 36mm 12-point deep socket, 1/2" drive - Used on axle nuts and most BMW oil filter housing nuts
• 30mm 12-point deep socket, 1/2" drive - Used on driveshaft and pinion mounting, rear wheel bearing removal and reinstallation on many BMWs
• 27mm 6-point socket, 1/2" drive - Fits N52/54 oil filter housing nuts and other various places on most BMWs
• 14/17mm service wrench - Versatile wrench features an open end and a hex head driver that fit most BMW transmission fill/drain plugs. Perfect for engine and transmission oil drains.
• M18 triple square extended reach socket, 1/2" drive - Used to remove axles and other various driveline components.
• All of the sockets included in this kit are built with extreme durability and versatility in mind, and can be used with breaker bars and impact guns.

To secure shocks and struts to their mounts, the retaining nut must be torqued to its proper specification using a torque wrench. An improper torque value may result in premature mount failure - or worse. Strut nut sockets allow for the use of an allen wrench to hold the damper shaft while utilizing your 1/2" drive torque wrench on the socket to achieve proper torque.

Kit Features:

• 18mm
• 19mm
• 21mm
• 22mm
• 24mm

This socket set is the perfect tool for axle nuts when servicing the axle shafts or wheel bearings.

Features:

• ½-inch drive 12-point socket
• Specially hardened to take the added abuse from a impact gun
• Coated for added protection and so you can tell it apart from non impact rated sockets
• Made of durable chrome moly steel
• 24mm (65mm depth)
• 27mm (65mm depth)
• 30mm (53mm depth)
• 36mm (65mm depth)
