The N54 suffers from a weak point in its crankshaft. It has been reported that when increasing the power to the engine, the crank hub can move or spin slightly under an extreme load. This is most apparent under high-rev downshifts or in the case of increased boost pressure which creates more stress on the engines rotating assembly. In order to keep this from happening, the crank bolt must be secured to the hub to keep it from backing off, but this can be a tricky solution since a simple dab of Loctite will not suffice.

Here is an easy, and cost-effective way to secure the situation; The VTT N54 crank bolt capture. This lightweight and durable ring slips over the head of the crank bolt fully encapsulating it, and locks it to the crank hub and eliminating its ability to spin. The VTT-CBC is 100% Billet Aircraft Grade Aluminum, Anodized black to protect it from the elements, and give it a stealth look. What's more is that it weighs only 1.3 Oz's meaning you aren't adding excess mass to the crankshaft which will avoid any imbalance or vibration issues.

While this is not a full fix for all crank hub spinning issues, the engineers at Vargas have found most issues have stemmed from the bolt itself backing out, and this is a great way to keep that from happening. Extremely lightweight at only 1.3 Oz's it adds virtually no weight to the crank which is important for balance and vibration.

Kit Includes:

• 1x Aluminum Crank Bolt Capture
• 8x Fasteners Gr. 12.9

This part fits the following BMWs:
2006-2013 N54

The factory magnesium valve covers on the S65 engine are known for developing micro-porosity, corrosion, and persistent oil leaks over time. This material is highly susceptible to oxidation, leading to unsightly surface imperfections, weakened gasket channels, and sealing issues that a simple gasket replacement won't fix.

Upgrade to this high-strength aluminum valve cover set, engineered as a direct-fit replacement for your aging OEM covers. Unlike magnesium, aircraft-grade aluminum offers superior durability, enhanced heat resistance, and complete immunity to the corrosion issues that plague factory covers. Whether you're refreshing a high-mileage M3 or seeking long-term reliability, this upgrade ensures a leak-free, worry-free solution for your S65.

This valve cover set includes gaskets, bolts, and oil separators for a comprehensive replacement.

Features:

Eliminates the common porosity and corrosion issues found in factory magnesium covers.

Helps maintain optimal engine temperatures and enhances long-term reliability.

Gloss red finish provides a much-needed boost in engine bay aesthetic.

Designed for an OEM-like installation without modifications.

Reduces the risk of oil leaks, ensuring a proper seal.

Resistant to oxidation and chemical exposure for a long-lasting clean look.

Enhance the durability of your BMW E9X M3 (S65) engine with the Slon Workshop Vanos Covers Kit. The OE plastic vanos cover is known for cracking and failure, posing a risk of plastic debris in the engine. Replace it with the IND Slon upgraded vanos covers for added peace of mind, preventing potential issues and ensuring the longevity of your engine.

• Vanos Covers Kit for BMW E9X M3 (S65)
• Upgraded design for enhanced durability
• Prevents cracking and failure of the OE plastic vanos cover
• Reduces the risk of plastic debris in the engine
• Provides an extra level of peace of mind for engine safety

BMW N20 N52 N55 Timing Chain addresses the common issue of timing chain stretch and rattling over time. Although BMW designates the timing chain as a lifetime part, many enthusiasts choose to replace it preemptively. Turner Motorsport offers this direct-fit replacement for those needing to replace a worn or damaged timing chain without opting for a full kit.

• Direct Fit Replacement: Perfect for replacing a stretched or broken timing chain.
• High-Quality Construction: Ensures durability and reliability in maintaining engine timing.
• Ease of Installation: Designed to fit precisely without requiring additional modifications.
• Ideal for Maintenance: A practical choice for enthusiasts who prefer to change the timing chain independently of a full kit.

The valve cover gasket seals the valve cover to the cylinder head, preventing oil leaks and maintaining engine integrity. Over time, exposure to high engine temperatures causes the gasket's rubber construction to degrade, leading to significant oil leaks. This often presents as a noticeable "burning oil" smell at idle, caused by oil dripping from the valve cover onto the hot exhaust manifolds.

If your valve cover gasket is failing, restore proper sealing and prevent further leaks with this premium OE replacement from Bremmen Parts.

Note: This gasket is designed for the left-side cylinder bank (cylinders 1-4). For the right-side cylinder bank (cylinders 5-8), see T#36913369.
