BMW Engine Parts for BMW 3 Series E93 (2007-2013)

The factory magnesium valve covers on the S65 engine are known for developing micro-porosity, corrosion, and persistent oil leaks over time. This material is highly susceptible to oxidation, leading to unsightly surface imperfections, weakened gasket channels, and sealing issues that a simple gasket replacement won't fix.

Upgrade to this high-strength aluminum valve cover set, engineered as a direct-fit replacement for your aging OEM covers. Unlike magnesium, aircraft-grade aluminum offers superior durability, enhanced heat resistance, and complete immunity to the corrosion issues that plague factory covers. Whether you're refreshing a high-mileage M3 or seeking long-term reliability, this upgrade ensures a leak-free, worry-free solution for your S65.

Features:

Eliminates the common porosity and corrosion issues found in factory magnesium covers.

Helps maintain optimal engine temperatures and enhances long-term reliability.

Designed for an OEM-like installation without modifications.

Reduces the risk of oil leaks, ensuring a proper seal.

Resistant to oxidation and chemical exposure for a long-lasting clean look.

Enthusiast Bundle: Turner Motorsport Crank Seal Guard with ECS Kevlar-Reinforced Belt

Protect your N5X/S55 from catastrophic failure with this must-have upgrade!

The Turner Motorsport Crank Seal Guard is meticulously designed to safeguard your engine’s crank seal from potential damage caused by a shredded serpentine belt. Oil or coolant leaks can lead to accessory belt slippage, fraying, and tearing, which can send belt debris behind the harmonic balancer and into the crank seal, risking serious engine damage.

Key Benefits:

Shields crank seal from accessory belt debris, preventing engine failure Custom-fit for N54/N55/S55 engines Zinc-coated fasteners for superior corrosion resistance Durable 6061 billet aluminum construction, with Turner blue anodized finish for added strength and style Cutting-Edge Design:

Designed using FARO laser scanning and Solidworks CAD for precision fitment Rigorous testing ensures reliable protection in all conditions Easily installs with 2 securing bolts torqued to 20Nm ECS Performance Kevlar-Reinforced Accessory Belt:

Reduced elongation for consistent performance over time Enhanced shock and impact resistance Superior oil and temperature resistance tested to JASO E 109-94 and SAE J2432 standards Ensure long-term engine health and peace of mind with the Turner Motorsport Crank Seal Guard and ECS Kevlar-Reinforced Accessory Belt combo. Prevent the "when, not if" risk of belt-related engine failure today!

Vargas Stage 1 N55 turbo upgrade is good up to 425whp with proper tuning and high grade fuel. Vargas N55 turbo is an all-new turbo specially made for Vargas. They build it with a billet compressor wheel of their own design and a stock turbine. It will accept all of the stock water and oil lines and the original diverter valve (upgraded DV is recommended). This kit is a direct bolt-on replacement for the original turbo and necessary if you want to start making big power from the N55.

The stock plastic diverter valve and chargepipe is the weakest point for boost leaks (the plastic cracks). Vargas Turbo recommends upgrading it to a stronger DV design. The aluminum DV designs will hold up to just about any boost level currently available.

Vargas Turbo Technologies has been in business since 1979, offering rebuilt and re-engineered turbo solutions. For the BMW market, they identified a need for both cost-effective turbo replacements and proven turbo upgrades. It's recommended that the rest of the system be upgraded to handle your tuning goals. The final Vargas rebuilt turbos are better than the factory rebuilds and at a lower cost!

Oil Recommendation - modern engine oil is formulated for emissions and to be environmentally friendly. The additives in current oil lowers the oil's ability to withstand high temperatures and stresses, lowering its shear strength and its lubricating properties. Vargas recommends oils with high ZDDP (zinc and phosphorus) content that will better protect and cool the turbo bearings. Examples of high-zinc oils are Red Line Race, Red Line Euro, Motul 300V Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, Valvoline VR-1 oil, and most Diesel-spec oils that you can buy off-the-shelf. Some oils, especially the Race type, will need more frequent oil changes and may be harmful to catalytic converters.

WHP rating: 425. This rating is used to compare various stage of Vargas turbo kits. There is no advertised horsepower gain with this kit as it depends on your other mods and tuning. The rating is provided as a reference to use in your tuning planning. Custom tuning is recommended to match thIS turbo to your existing mods and upgrades.
