The VAC Motorsports Crank Seal Guard, made of 6061 Billet Aluminum, prevents your serpentine belt from being pulled into your engine, a common problem amongst BMW N54, N55, and S55 Engines. Without a crank seal guard, the serpentine belt on N54, N55, and S55 engines is commonly sucked into the crank hub area past the crank seal, where it enters your engine and disrupts engine timing. When this occurs, the belt is shredded and clogs engine oil pickup, starving the engine and reducing oil pressure, causing catastrophic engine failure and thousands of dollars worth of damage. The crankcase oil vent system on the N52/N54 is one of its weakest and cheaply designed systems. We see crankcase vent issues on even stock engines but with more boost the problems are exponential. This Vargas upgraded PCV valve, and an oil catch can, are what the N54 engine needs and may alleviate most of your oil and boost leak issues. The PCV valve is supposed to let oil either return to the oil pan or pass through the intake manifold and get burned up in the combustion chamber. However, BMW used a weak plastic vent valve that doesn't seal well when under boost. Instead of closing and venting the oil out of the intake, it's forced through this valve and into the intake and coating your valves with oil residue and carbon. Most boost equals more oil forcing its way by. This upgraded N54 PCV valve uses higher grade materials, including aluminum, to provide a better seal and prevent oil from entering the intake. It's an easy install and a must-have item when considering any turbo work.

Vargas has introduced their new Billet Power Steering pulleys for the N54 engine! A well-known issue with the N54 with Hydraulic power steering is the plastic pulley either hitting the subframe, or breaking on its own. This can result in the belt to be ejected from the pulley, and leave you stranded with no serpentine belt. This also increases the chance of sucking the belt into the engine through the front seal. Put an end to the dreaded plastic PS pulley issues with the VTT 100% Billet Aluminum PS pulley. These are constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodize in one of 4 colors (Black, Red, Blue, and Clear) for a great look, and long-lasting finish. These weigh 11oz, very close to the weight of a stock pulley, and are lighter than the cast aluminum versions on the market.

Having your oil pressure light come on can mean very serious problems. Or it could just be this switch that fails several times over a car's lifespan. By no means should you ignore the warning light but replacing this sensor could be the actual culprit. The other problem with this switch is that oil can leak past its seal. While factory coil upgrades such as S55, and our own N54 coil upgrades do provide more spark, the BMW B58 ignition coils are extremely robust and can support well over 1000whp with no issues. This means a plug, and play affordable solution that fits like stock, and looks AMAZING doing so! Vargas's 6061-T6 Billet bracket comes in a variety of colors including matching shades for every N54 Valve Cover we offer (even the cast wrinkle). This means you can mix and match the color of the bracket with coil color, with VC color to truly tailor your engine bay to look exactly how you want it to! The kit comes with the following: 1 – Billet Aluminum Coil Bracket in the color of choice or Genuine Carbon Fiber 6 – Plug and play VTT wiring harnesses 6 – Custom VTT stalks to convert the B58 coils to the N54 head (We ensure proper spring length inside the boot for optimal spring to plug contact) 6 – Coils in the color of choice (optional) **Note: This only fits the stock N54 Valve covers or Vargas Billet and Cast Valve Covers.
