BMW Engine Parts for BMW 3 Series E93 (2007-2013)

BMW S65 4.0L Vanos Covers 7075 provide a robust replacement for the factory plastic covers, which are known to fail over time. These high-performance Vanos covers snap on securely, offering a precise fit to eliminate vibration and prevent chafing of the engagement dogs.

• High-Strength Construction: Machined from premium 7075 aluminum for superior durability and strength.
• Corrosion Resistance: Anodized finish ensures long-lasting protection against corrosion.
• Perfect Fitment: Designed for an exact fit to avoid issues such as vibration and chafing.
• No Timing Tools Required: Easy installation with no need for engine timing tools.

The N54 suffers from a weak point in its crankshaft. It has been reported that when increasing the power to the engine, the crank hub can move or spin slightly under an extreme load. This is most apparent under high-rev downshifts or in the case of increased boost pressure which creates more stress on the engines rotating assembly. In order to keep this from happening, the crank bolt must be secured to the hub to keep it from backing off, but this can be a tricky solution since a simple dab of Loctite will not suffice.

Here is an easy, and cost-effective way to secure the situation; The VTT N54 crank bolt capture. This lightweight and durable ring slips over the head of the crank bolt fully encapsulating it, and locks it to the crank hub and eliminating its ability to spin. The VTT-CBC is 100% Billet Aircraft Grade Aluminum, Anodized black to protect it from the elements, and give it a stealth look. What's more is that it weighs only 1.3 Oz's meaning you aren't adding excess mass to the crankshaft which will avoid any imbalance or vibration issues.

While this is not a full fix for all crank hub spinning issues, the engineers at Vargas have found most issues have stemmed from the bolt itself backing out, and this is a great way to keep that from happening. Extremely lightweight at only 1.3 Oz's it adds virtually no weight to the crank which is important for balance and vibration.

Kit Includes:

• 1x Aluminum Crank Bolt Capture
• 8x Fasteners Gr. 12.9

This part fits the following BMWs:
2006-2013 N54

On the cutting edge since the beginning, the company has grown with the industry, servicing diesel and industrial turbochargers. Returning to their hot-rod roots, Vargas has jumped head-first into the BMW performance market, filling a need for high-quality, cost effective turbocharger upgrades for everything from daily-driven street cars to all-out racing machines.

The factory magnesium valve covers on the S65 engine are known for developing micro-porosity, corrosion, and persistent oil leaks over time. This material is highly susceptible to oxidation, leading to unsightly surface imperfections, weakened gasket channels, and sealing issues that a simple gasket replacement won't fix.

Upgrade to this high-strength aluminum valve cover, engineered as a direct-fit replacement for your aging OEM covers. Unlike magnesium, aircraft-grade aluminum offers superior durability, enhanced heat resistance, and complete immunity to the corrosion issues that plague factory covers. Whether you're refreshing a high-mileage M3 or seeking long-term reliability, this upgrade ensures a leak-free, worry-free solution for your S65.

This valve cover includes gaskets, bolts, and the oil separator for a comprehensive replacement.

Features:

Eliminates the common porosity and corrosion issues found in factory magnesium covers.

Helps maintain optimal engine temperatures and enhances long-term reliability.

Gloss red finish provides a much-needed boost in engine bay aesthetic.

Designed for an OEM-like installation without modifications.

Reduces the risk of oil leaks, ensuring a proper seal.

Resistant to oxidation and chemical exposure for a long-lasting clean look.

The valve cover gasket seals the valve cover to the cylinder head, preventing oil leaks and maintaining engine integrity. Over time, exposure to high engine temperatures causes the gasket's rubber construction to degrade, leading to significant oil leaks. This often presents as a noticeable "burning oil" smell at idle, caused by oil dripping from the valve cover onto the hot exhaust manifolds.

If your valve cover gasket is failing, restore proper sealing and prevent further leaks with this premium OE replacement from Bremmen Parts.

Note: This gasket is designed for the right-side cylinder bank (cylinders 5-8). For the left-side cylinder bank (cylinders 1-4), see T#36913370.

This Valvetronic variable valve timing actuator is designed to optimize engine performance by adjusting the eccentric shaft, effectively increasing or decreasing valve lift and duration as needed. By dynamically controlling valve timing, it enhances power delivery, fuel efficiency, and overall driving performance.

A failing actuator can lead to noticeable power loss, reduced performance, and an illuminated check engine light. Restore your BMW's performance with this premium replacement from Bremmen Parts, designed to meet or exceed OE specifications.

Features:

Exact Fitment: Engineered to perfectly match your BMW’s specifications for seamless installation. Durable Construction: Built with high-strength materials to resist engine heat, vibration, and wear. Precision Manufacturing: Designed to OE dimensions for accurate clearances and alignment. Optimal Performance: Restores proper timing and functionality at all engine speeds. Get your BMW back on the road with reliable performance and confidence.

This eccentric shaft is a vital component of your BMW's N55 Valvetronic system, responsible for precise control of valve lift. In the N55 engine, the Valvetronic system uses intermediate levers between the camshaft and lifters to adjust valve lift dynamically. These levers are actuated by this eccentric shaft, which is rotated by an electronically controlled motor under the direction of the engine computer.

Eccentric shaft failure is a common issue in N55 engines, often caused by inadequate lubrication due to extended oil change intervals. The most frequent failure occurs when the eccentric shaft gear wears down, leading to disengagement from the motor's worm drive. Symptoms include multiple fault codes, such as P1014 (Shaft Parity Error), P1017 (Shaft Sensor Plausibility), P1023 (Valvetronic Adjustment Range), and P10E1 (Valvetronic System No Travel Detected).

If your BMW is experiencing Valvetronic-related fault codes, a failing eccentric shaft could be the source of the problem. Opt for this premium direct replacement from Bremmen Parts to restore your Valvetronic system's functionality and ensure a durable, high-quality repair.
